Community Featured Contracts - June 2022 "HEAT STROKE"

So how does the micro explosive cause the target to die by falling? It just knocks her over and she “falls” into the pool she was already hanging out in? Haha, sneaky.

Essentially the explosion pacifies her. You can use any method in theory (the snail works too) as long as it pacifies her.

I’m not sure why it’s classed as a falling kill instead of a drowning kill, but when an unconscious NPC is in water it classes it as that.

Huh. TIL.
Thanks!

#1 on Xbox (June 24) for Heat Rises. Doubt I’ll stay there.

Awesome run! Using a whole bunch of sedatives and distractions to get Marcus out to the oil barrel is really impressive, I just used the mission story where you becomes his new security guard which is a very very slow method in comparison.

Congrats folks. Now, in the order I played them…

Working up a Sweat was a very good contract that I imagine could have a lot of Gaucho starters among casual players. Good to see how this contract cares for both the speedrunner who quickly wants the icicle and the casual that doesn’t want to trespass. Great work.
Medical Attention shows me that sometimes all skill goes out the window. Zoe is a great target choice (you can throw a muffin at her for a fall kill!) and FW on the boat fellow was pretty unique. I need not mention the tax evasion in the briefing either, lol
Tuk-Tuk Bang Bang probably ties with WuaS for the best. Good quick contract that encourages good use of the environment for pretty public kills. Of course you couldn’t shoot the tuk-tuk of the target at the main start so it was fun to use the falling objects.
The Angry Sun was great, but I don’t see how someone would do it fast. Still, getting all the targets in one spot for a penta-kill was really tense, and I had a lot of fun. Good use of the map as well, that area doesn’t get enough love it seems.
The Power Issue had a very good pairing of targets to the briefing, and except for the helicopter pilot each of the targets had some addition which made the “just turn off the power” motif not so simple, such as the “no recordings” or the fire/accident kills. Had good fun.
Unfortunately, Heat Rises seems to have come straight from the trending tab (which I know isn’t always bad). Other than emetics (I served an emetic drink) I don’t understand how to electrocute Omar on his cycle, fire is banned in roulette rivals Dubai for good reason (LONG DRAG) and honestly some people must be getting so mad playing this, trying to get Sato away from the balcony. Thankfully you can lure half a dozen people into a side room and get him in last. Can’t complain about that briefing though, I liked that… and so did Clemens probably :stuck_out_tongue:

Overall a pretty good batch, hopefully the hot scope ones aren’t all snipers

Kashmirian’s sniper stand with a remote trigger please, where we can mount and trigger any sniper remotely, maybe through camera or a trigger like The Vantage Point movie :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Maybe that mount is a briefcase which cannot have items in it.

I kinda enjoy doing this, rating every contract on this batch from best to worst:

this was a pretty good batch

BEST: Tuk-Tuk Bang Bang: holy fuck what a great selection of targets, they create a sorta circle that makes them more interesting to route, and considering how many starting location there are in Mumbai, it worked greatly, not to mention the difficulty of the targets, some are very easy yet some are tricky, great balance, and the complication is spot on blocking us from killing targets up front, 9/10 because this game can’t get us 10/10 contracts.

2ND PLACE: The Power Issue: I have no idea what made this contract as fun as it is, it’s quite weird, Mansion Target was great, but overall, idk, it just flows pretty well and fun to route, 7/10.

3RD PLACE: Working up a Sweat: the only issue is that this contract is easy, definitely fun to route, and really liked the complication saying either start as a gaucho and don’t trespass or start as a winery worker and trespass, but targets were easy to eliminate and it sucked, 7/10.

4TH PLACE: The Angry Sun: every player that killed them all w/o propanes is a legend, target choices weren’t perfection, there were better choices in that area, but these ones for sure made a solid fc, 7/10.

5TH PLACE: Medical Attention: it’s a fun contract, tho personally I’d take off the doctor as a target and add another one, he is just pointless as a target and he slows down the pace, also koing him, wearing his disguise and then killing him? Pointless, fun contract overall, 6/10.

WORST: Heat Rises: I don’t need to explain why it’s the black sheep in this batch, it’s a bunch of unique npcs in Dubai with heat related accidents, pointless and annoying, but don’t even get me started on Electro Omar and Fire Marcus, these two were very poor choices, very poor painful choices, 2/10.

heat stroke rl info for yall to be careful during the summer:

aight, as someone that has a friend that got a heat stroke and spent 3 days in the hospital with her brain fucking melted (she’s fine now don’t worry it was a year ago), I’ll give a few unknown advices:

  • don’t lay on the ground, the ground is hot (outdoor ofcourse) and it’ll get your body heat up.
  • people tend to say lots of stupid things while having a heat stroke (obvs cuz their brain is melting), figure this out before it’s too late.
  • having a heat stroke has no connection to being dry, you can be hydrated and still have an heat stroke, heat stroke means your body temp is uppity up, not being dry, be careful, stay in cool locations.
  • if your friend is having a heat stroke pour cold water on their body from the neck down, you don’t want to choke them with these water + take off their clothing in order to cool their body as much as possible.

Be safe fellas!

Method I had planned for my contract

Turns out that Vetrova and guard can’t see through doctor hut doorway even when the door is open.

Tried to find something interesting for this, had fun.

What do you mean by that?

That the contract itself is flawless, theres nothing bad to say about it, it’s just that this game isn’t 10/10 in the first place, so getting a perfect contract is impossible.

and on top of that, I don’t think 10/10 is a giveable grade, if I say something along the lines of a “9/10 cuz a pefect 10 don’t exist” then just think about it as a flawless contract, a contract you’d play and have nothing bad to say about it, just that it’s not straight up perfect

okay, that makes sense, tho thats why I prefer a five stars sort of system. i think a perfect contract can maybe exist even if a perfect game cant because its more about a specific role

True, but, it’s more than just rare, even flawless isn’t perfect, it’s down to a feeling if a contract is a 9 or a 10.
