Cyberpunk 2077 Discussion

The base game is still being sold on the ps4 with the excuse that can be played also on ps5. If you open the notes it says that it’s not recommended to buy the game if you are on a ps4. They should delist the game from the store if you are on ps4. When I’ll buy a ps5 I won’t buy this until is really cheap.

Introducing the coolest mod I’ve probably ever seen and will make me extremely jealous of PC people.

Cyberpunk 2077 International edition:

Someone went through the game’s dialogue files of dozens upon dozens of NPCs, decided which language each would primarily speak, and assigned them that specific voice language track.

Multilingual people would also speak multiple languages, swapping between their native tongue and English for example.

And it’s all subtitled according to your regional localized copy. That’s pretty darn cool.

Only thing missing is that subtitles actually require a translator upgrade.

Been meaning to replay the entirety of the game (when the expansion came out, I just played the new content with an existing character) and wanted to use mods this time, so many thanks for the suggestion!

Just finished Phantom Liberty (started just a few days ago). A bit surprised that it wasn’t as much of an Escape From New York ripoff as I thought it would be. It was just the setup basically.

Found it largely enjoyable.

The extra fixer quests with El Capitan and Mr Hands were very welcome. Seeing the fixers up and personal was something I really wanted more of in the main game.

Ended up going with saving Songbird all the way through. It just felt right to save someone who’s in the same sitch as V. Felt hopeful, and in a way like a victory against inevitable death. Really helped that nobe of the characters were fully good.

Hansen’s death felt pretty anti-climactic though.

Added by Edit: saw that siding with Reed gives you a Hansen boss-fight. Meh. Looking at the end results emotionally I think I prefer my Songbird choice. though all choices are meant to be hard / depressing in some way.
