Not watching at whole for spoiler reasons, but its impressive how they look now, compared to Havens cutscenes. Especially the location surrounding it, if compared to outside the Bank in New York. Really looking forward to these new ones.
I mean, can we take a break for a moment and think about that we have the first mission being us sneaking into UAE, skydive onto a skyscraper, taking out two of the three most powerful people in the world, and then hunt for the third? Did any of us even dream about that when paris alone came out back in 2016? Impressive step up they did over the years.
Also explains the screenshot with the targets using parachutes to escape. Makes a lot more sense with the reveal the elevators and staircase doors are locked thanks to Grey.
Of course, thereâs also at least one helicopter left, but I assume thereâs a mission story/opportunity about destroying it, meaning thereâs no other way to get out of the building quickly.
Oh, and we finally learn who freed the Constant: Random sailor dude. Hopefully said unnamed sailor will be a target with a name and backstory in a later mission.
i bet itâs just an early access thing to have one independent mission story for each of the partners is weird. it just seems like they might not want to many spoilers for the game
Well from the footage Iâve seen there are currently at least six mission stories, but three of them arenât on the menu. Hereâs the ones I counted:
Messing with the exhibition to get Marcus to meet with his daughter (from ManyATrueNerdâs coverage)
Preparing a dish for Carl as a famous chef (from MATN)
Triggering an evacuation and sabotaging the parachutes (From CallMeKevin, but glimpsed in the gameplay reveal)
Becoming an assassin for Carl and taking a photo of the corpse (various, seen in menu)
Audition to be Marcusâ bodyguard (various, seen in menu)
Mess with the servers to get both targets in a room, where Grey lets you loose on them (various, seen in menu but first mentioned in Game Informer coverage)
Thereâs some other non-story assassinations too. Looks like they have pretty long routes too. Donât be worried about lack of content. Just be worried about lack of new features.
Alright added proper spoiler tags to all the bullet points. As much as I enjoy the idea of only having 3 mission stories with walkthroughs I think IO should include walkthroughs for all 6-8 in the levels because itâs just confusing people into thinking thereâs less kills. There are just as many from all the coverage Iâve watched, and even then thatâs only the dev intended scripted ones, but now this is like a minor controversy where people think Dubai is like Hawkeâs Bay or New York.
Also they should give the black and red disguise a triangle hat to differentiate it.
God, that was so lame how they handled it I mean, not so much the who, but rather the context and timing in which Diana reveals it (Oh, Carlisle is leaving? Lovely, I can finally tell you the Constant has escaped!).
Also, I´m really not a fan of these cutsene-briefing hybrids they´ve been having since New York Hopefully it won´t be the case with all the missions in the game.
Iâm honestly going to be very disappointed if it was just an unnamed sailor whoâll not appear in the game. Either making him a target, or at least an NPC in one of them missions, or reveal that the sailor was working one Greyâs order and is just a scapegoat.
Mmhh, now that I think of it: Grey gave Diana a gun in case âthe crew tries anythingâ. Maybe he was planning on Diana confronting and killing the sailor, so that there are no loses ends that could be tracked back to him.
As for the timing: Yep that was bad. Maybe Diana didnât want to tell them because she was worried it would distract Grey/47. But then why tell them when Carlisle is leaving?
They never reacted to gunshots except they were lethal and killed somebody.
When you kill 3 NPC or crowd members the crowds will clear out the perimeter
Just read in TechRadar that they re-use the exact same Golf Ball kill from Season 1, except this time they gave it a hand-holdy conversation to point it out
They could have spiced it up and made it the target uses a baseball pitch machine or something to be slightly different
I am kinda grateful because trying to find a golf ball in that place would be Herculean.
Well I think they are going for the âbusiness man has a putting green in his officeâ trope. Plus if he missed those balls go off the tower and fall right downâŚ
I was thinking that myself. Maybe 47âs halo suit counts as a suit? it would explain why nobody has got all of the disguises yet since simply wearing a starting disguise doesnât unlock the challenge.
