DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (Mission #1) - Location Discussion

I wish I had but due to the servers being broken I’m not going to play that mission now. Haven’t seen much of it yet.

You can watch it being done on YouTube. Speedrun strays, basically. Start in the right place and use the perfect method.

Sorry I asked this earlier and didn’t get a response.

Are you able to get Stuyvesant’s new guard a uniform? There’s an electrocution kill that you can set up but I would rather set it up and trigger the route through that area.I went up to the shirtless guard while disguised as one an 47 said he couldn’t give him the uniform.

Then I dare to say you´re in for a treat when you do. Mendoza is fantastic, with plenty of great unique kills.

Oh yes. It’s excellent. I’ve played through each level a few times now, and it’s the only kill I’ve seen that gives you a new camera angle.

It must have been an intentional decision, but I think it’s a real loss. Remember that simple kill in Paris where 47 snaps Novikov’s neck and dumps him in the Seine? It’s such a simple thing, but a lot of people found it totally memorable because of how cold and casual 47 looked when he did it… and that was simply because they showed the scene from a different angle than the usual one.

True, haven´t encountered any other cinematic kill yet either.

On a side note, they also removed the cinematic view when killing Yamazaki as the hospital director in H2, didn´t they?

Also, regarding Dubai, I gotta say I´m a tad bit disappointed that neither Salman Al-Ghazali nor Amos Dexter make an appearance in the level

Has anyone else noticed that Hedi and Dexy were in Argentina

I did notice that it took me off guard a bit

I’ll be glad to check myself.
But I can’t access Miami for now 'cause I have to pay 20 € on EGS.
And I have till February the 3rd, it’s 99 € afterwards.

I don’t think so.

Sebastian Sato is also at a balcony bar in Dubai. I don’t think he says anything though.

This made me laugh so much when I found where it was. Who the fuck would throw anything off a skyscraper? It’s like shooting a bullet into the air. All that stuff comes down. Despite the myth, a penny won’t kill you bc it doesn’t weigh enough to have enough energy even if it hits terminal velocity, but heavier items would.

Just for fun: A Penny is 2.5 grams, a .45 ACP bullet is 6x heavier at 15 grams and a golf ball is over 3x heavier than the bullet and weighs 45.93 grams.

Supposedly we’re getting Hitman 2 for free eventually, but I am worried how long it’ll take and what hoops we have to jump through and might just say screw it and consider the $20 a tip for IOI lol.

When you try to get down just faster by not using the stairs and get hunted then it ends like this

Ok so I know I saw someone post the lock box codes for Dubai. I have looked all over the level and can not find them. I also can not find the lock box codes again in HMF even with the search tool. Can someone spoiler cover or PM how to find out these codes?

You mean the ones with the evacuation keycard? A guard right next to the other one tells it to someone else on phone.

One thing I’m wondering is that does a deposit box key exist in the level? You can easily pick the boxes open but I haven’t seen a key. Moreover, has anyone found if there’s an easter egg related to the gold idol yet?

Thanks so now I still need the other one. I tried all the codes written on white board next to “safe acc” but no luck :joy:

I’ve not opened all the boxes yet.
