Yep creators can definitely be wrong if they give conflicting information or misremember or make mistakes but that does not mean their authority over their own works is in dispute when it comes to creative choices. For example a creative choice about whether a game mode is designed with the overarching story in mind and if it weren’t then there is no concievable way to present fact to the contrary and say yes everything fits perfectly and what doesn’t can be ignored and explained away with convuluted reasoning. It’s not something you can be wrong about so it can’t be a mistake. Let me give you an example - when Tomb Raider was at it’s peak Lara Croft the character was used in commercials to market all types of products and services but does that mean they are canon to the game just because it might technically not break the established lore? No clearly it’s just marketing and nothing else. Countless IPs have had all types of related media but not everything is canon just because it exist. At best it’s alternate universe where the primary material is canon to the secondary material but not vice versa.
That’s very interesting. I didn’t know the game calculated damage outside of player fights I thought it was predetermined outcomes so now I wonder if you can influence outcome by damaging NPC health.
Nope, it’s not their “real” health. After all, if it was, they’d die after the fights :p
(the leader is killed by a script after Lee kills him)
“Any eliminations (authorized or otherwise must be performed by someone else)
Only use non-lethal methods to neutralize threats against Agent Lee”
I was also puzzled by these conditions, but I guess “eliminations” here means killing people, not eliminating them from the tournament. So that only Lee gets to kill the main target, and all his goons must stay alive. They should’ve worded it better.
Ah, I see now. Thanks!
Yes Lara is in our universe and she likes Whopper Juniors ![]()
It’s all made up Mano. That was kinda my point. It can be whatever you want it to be so why not let @Heisenberg assertively explain to us why he says it’s his way? He might could be right !
Because nobody should be an arbiter of Canon.
Lara Croft eats burgers what! Actually I can imagine that, after a long mission, she’s flopped on the couch, surrounded by empty Chinese takeout boxes and she’s still hungry, so she reaches for her phone and pulls up the Burger King app. That would make her both endearingly relatable, but also make for a good ad for BK ![]()
@Heisenberg is currently attending to another matter, but will be back to whoop your butts soon ![]()
While I appreciate the note of confidence, I really have very little more input to give. This ET was kept so deliberately ambiguous on many thing, I’ve had to go mainly off of implication and suggestion. That’s why it’s so fun to theorize with this one.
So I went with the story route for the real deal - fought everyone on Lee’s behalf. Kinda redundant, ‘cause I’ve already uploaded the ETA with the same approach, except I’m dressed more appropriately and not getting tricked by double attacks this time.
Fleeing the scene via boat in that getup brings memories, right? Shame there probably won’t be another occasion to wear it ever again.
You know, I don’t get the hate for Elusive Targets, I love their risky nature and everything. But gotta agree with y’all on this one - long and convoluted missions like this, with lots of stuff to tinker with and even more fail conditions aren’t the best fit for this mode.
I have no problem with headcanon I have my own as does everyone probably. It’s only when trying to present it as factual where I feel like disputing it. It’s not really a big problem though I suppose I have better things to do than to keep arguing about any more
I have talked privately with Heisenberg and now I have a little more respect for him now. Never felt any hate for him if it might have seemed like it. I actually have enjoyed reading some of his comments here and there even if I don’t always agree with him. I wish him well.
Maybe discussed before, I browsed the thread, but don’t be mad if I repeat the questions:
-
How many possible targets are there? I counted 4 (three contestants and the bodyguard of the old Dragon head)
-
What happens if Bruce Lee fights any of the targets? Is it draw? Does he lose, does he win, is it random?
OK I was in a similar position as you guys in this video, but the time span from Bruce being poisoned and Bruce being dead was way shorter than yours. It took you ages to find an antidote. Or was it just my subjective feeling? What is that time span?
Probably a mix of video editing and subjective feeling. I didn’t make the video so I can’t speak to whether they edited part of it or not.
To reply to my second question: I just witnessed Bruce knocked out Xiao Hu
Yeah, if Bruce is not poisoned, he wins every fight, unless you face him with 47 disguised as the other fighter, in which case 47 backs down to let Lee accomplish his mission and no fight even occurs.
This is awesome. How did you know every single time how they would attack? And how did you know where to strike the best?
OK, how is it possible that 47 confronts Bruce Lee, if he was a substitute for Bruce and fights his opponents?

Four. Three fighters that can be either killed or eliminated from the tournament, and the Dragon Head himself who has to die. Never saw the bodyguard being an authorized target.
-
If he’s poisoned - he’s gonna lose. If not - he’ll defeat anyone.
