So anyone else wanna talk about the Pop music at the end of Episode 7?
There was music? I actually had to go back and rewatch the end to notice it.
I liked it. I thought I was the only person who actually listens to the credits music at the end of shows lol.
I can see what they were going for, but I donât think it fits with the franchise. Just like Church in the wild doesnât fit inside the Gladiator II trailer. But to be honest, I didnât even second guess it at the moment. But on reflection, I dislike it.
That all down, the last three episodes have been good. Not House of Dragon or Andor good. But a major step in the right direction. Even if the writing is still lacking.
Iâve pre ordered Star Wars Outlaws. Only saw a few videos on it, because I want to go in as blind as possible, but so far it looks amazing.
Finally a game in the Underworld, no fuckin Lightsabers, no Sith, no Jedi.
á”Ê°á”Êłá”âËą ÊČá”Ëąá” á” Ëąá”á”ËĄËĄ á”Êłá”á”ËĄá”á”, itâs a Ubisoft game
So what? Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor are âEAâ Games and they are awesome too.
Hope you like climbing towers and liberating some camps then
As long as i can play it offline and actually unlock stuff in my single player game
Oh so you got âmoneyâ money.
Iâm not sure what youâre trying to say, but buying a Videogame doesnât hurt me, luckily.
The Star Wars outlaws pricing is egregious and the only way you can get every single piece of content the game has to offer is through the $130 edition of the game.
And how much is Hitman 3 with all content?
As of the Freelancer Update.
$60 for three games.
$100 for all three games and the deluxe edition
Doesnât compare.
And 4,99 for the Disruptor pack, the undying pack, for Sarajevo Six, the 2 packs for Freelancer that I canât remember the names of⊠Thats another 25âŹ, dollar or whatever your currency is. So if you want to own everything, its also around 125âŹ, so whats your point
Game devsâ tendency to raise the price for low effort content not even worth locking at. Tough times.

Thoughts about Season 1
The Acolyte, while there are some redeeming qualities to the show, the show is riddled with characters that are inconsistent at best.
I felt the Showrunner and Writers really wanted to leave their mark on the franchise and in a lot of ways theyâve succeeded even if it was met with opposition.
There are decisions with the show and its direction that I donât particularly agree with. Mainly with its plot and the story itâs trying to tell. I feel The Acolyte would have been received better if the story was structured in a way where the overarching mystery had a better payoff. I also think the show shouldnât have had ties to stuff established within the prequels. Such thing being the immaculate conception and the implications it has with Anakin Skywalker.
Honestly, the twins are the worst part of the show for me. I feel their involvement with the plot was only there to start the plot and by extension rationalize later reveals, but outside of that Osha and Mae I feel do alot of flipping around and donât bring much beyond that.
The fight choreography is great, that is one thing I can say was consistent throughout the series.
When the show did cameos it just raised more questions than answers for me and this finale hammers home that sentiment with the involvement of a very beloved, but wise character from the Star Wars mythos.
If Season 2 involves said character going forward I just donât know how they can have them without sensing something is off.
Acolyte Season 1 5/10
I wouldnât say he was a legends character before hand. James Lucenoâs Darth Plaguies book was legends. However he was mentioned by name in Epsiode 3. One could argue that Palpatine could have made up a name to sell his story to Anakin.
I always seen Plaguies as a canon character, his background was legends.
Where was this confirmed? I might have missed something. I donât recall that being spoken or told outright in the show. From my recollection, the connect was vague. I read into it as the Sith learned of this force power from the cult and implemented into their own plans.
Something I would find a lot more interesting, also something we have seen before. Between Mother Talzin and Palpatine in the Clone Wars.
The structure and writing was all over the place. I fear if the industry rumours are true, that there was to much meddling. The show we got, isnât the one that was pitched back when it was announced. I have a hard time believing that this mess all falls on Leslye Headland shoulders, she shown us with multiple shows that she is a good writer. This show suffers from far to many beginner errors.
This was never a problem for me, it think it would have landed better if the writing was up to snuff.
I donât think we are getting a season 2.
Iâll give the show a 6/10. It had elements that worked very well, but it suffered from far to many beginner errors. Iâm up for a season 2 or something else that will built upon the story. Iâll still buy it on 4K Blu-ray, I like to own all my Star Wars media.
I should elaborate further by saying. Plaguies by name has always been canon. But to my knowledge his background, race, and master have always been legends.
I donât think him being Muun was spoken about within the prequels or the current EU
Then we are on the same side, I took it as you saying that Plaguies wasnât canon before now. All the details surrounding him from James Lucenoâs book wasnât canon. To be fair, is it actually confirmed that the mysterious alien is in fact him? I didnât look through the credits to see if his name popped up. If not, then it could also be Darth Tenebrous. However it very much looks like a Muun, making it the more likely option that itâs Plaguies.
It seems like his current apprentice is a dead end, just like Maul and Dooku were to Palpatine.
