Everything Star Wars v2

No shame in some tears Mano. What did you think of the ending they gave to Deedra? I totally understood her boss blowing his brains out rather than getting force choked by Vader or electrocuted to death by Palpatine (although not sure if anyone besides Vader knows he had magic too). But Deedra in gaol didn’t make sense to me. It was great for story telling but she knows something she’s not supposed to; me thinks they would have killed her rather than risk throwing her into a labour camp where she can get angry at them and start talking.

To me it was the perfect ending for her. Like most Imperials she fell on her own sword. She lived and breathed for the Empire, not even her beloved could make her see reason when confronted with her atrocities. She doubled down. Obsessing over finding Axis, lead to her fall from grace. Being tossed to the side, when her actions made her a possible accomplice.

I don’t believe that she would ever rebel, she certainly doesn’t believe in the Rebellion. Tossing her into a labour camp never to be seen again, working herself to death. Seems fitting. It’s tragic and she will live out the rest of her miserable life in a totalitarian backwater prison, as the expendable piece that she is.

Even if she where going to talk, who would she tell? She’s isolated from the world. The other prisoners would be to busy keeping their heads down. The wardens wouldn’t hesitate to kill them all, to stop a whistleblower.

Also she is a disgraced ISB agent, the other inmates probably despise her.

Alrighty, Star Wars Collection Update Time.

One-Sixth Scale Figurines (Hot Toys)

  • Darth Nihlus and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ep.2) ā€œArtisianā€

Admittedly, it’s hard to stay away from these things, that being said Sideshow being my market for these figures makes them more accessible for me.

That being said within the year I’ll be moving somewhere where I’ll have more space. What does that mean exactly? Well for one I’ll be getting proper display cases for them.

While I do genuinely have an idea on what this display will look like. Im steadily checking my boxes on what I want to predominantly show which is Legends - Prequels - Clone Wars adjacent.

I’m on a waitlist to hopefully get an opportunity to get Artisian Ep.3 Anakin, but that in itself will be me waiting. This by no means guarantees I’ll get one, but only time will tell.

Omnibus’s

  • Tales of the Jedi, Old Republic Vol 1, Rebellion Vol 2

I was fortunate enough to get TotJ and Rebellion Vol 2 on Amazon for over half off new. Old Republic was a bit more expensive. That being said by extension I’m getting a custom Dust Sleeve for Tales of the Jedi specifically which is a slightly altered DM Variant with a different Spine.

The reason behind this decision is because the normal Variant’s artwork doesn’t speak Jedi to me. So to simply put it, I took matters into my own hands to fix that.

So now the dust sleeve will represent the beautiful artwork from the DM Variant with more appropriate art on the spine.

Art Prints

  • Frame for Shattered and Mustafar Confrontations shipping out after a delay.

Lastly, my art prints will either be framed soon or will finally be reaching my possession.

I’ve sorta moved away from traditional movies posters in recent years. Outside of a few exceptions, but I want to represent my love for something through fine art. I’m finally getting around to making sure these things get properly taken care of.

So as i mentioned earlier is this thread Hot Toys has released a Sith Apprentice Darth Vader exclusive to select markets and Star Wars Celebration.

Well I’ve came to the conclusion that I need some form of Episode 3 Anakin representation within my display simply because it would work off my Vader really well.

I’m on a waitlist for the Light Side version, but one way or another I’ll be adding some form of Anakin to the display.

That being said I’m doing the very insane endeavor of getting one of the two. As I wait out this waitlist hoping I’ll get a chance to get the light side version. I’ll be working a lot of hours for extra income so I can put that aside to get a the Sith Apprentice version if need be.

I’ve came to terms that I’ll be spending a sizable amount for it, but I’m gonna keep my options open before I consider dropping an arm and a leg.

So what happens after this?

Well, I’ll probably stop buying Hot Toys unless another KOTOR Specific Sith is released or a Sith Apprentice Galen Marek releases, but most importantly Display Cases will be bought so they can get a proper home. Following this, every Lightsaber wielder will have Custom Lightsabers so they can look screen accurate. Lastly and surely this one is optional. If I do get Sith Apprentice Vader, I’ll be getting normal Anakin eyes to put into the head sculpt.

This project is gonna take time, but I’m eager to show everyone it as it progresses.

as of 6/6/25 currently complete collection of Dark Horse Comic’s Marvel Omnibus in Chronological Order.

The Old Republic Vol. 2 and The Rebellion Vol. 3 are set to release in the near future.

Only Omni that has a custom Dust Sleeve is the is Tales of the Jedi, particularly do to the reason the Standard Cover is Jabba the Hutt which by extension doesn’t really fit the overarching narrative of the book.

You make that sleeve yourself ??

Separate…. No idea if this is real or not, but it’s hilarious.

Sleeve design is a hybrid of the Tales of the Jedi DM Var which is OOP with the spine artwork being the only thing that’s really truly custom. I got the designed commissioned by 21roy who does custom Dust Sleeve designs.

And then I sent the design to a place in the Midwest that specializes in Dust Sleeves for books. It’s a process and definitely not cheap to do, but it was cheaper to do it this way then it was to just buy a DM var tales of the Jedi which are fairly expensive.

14 Emmy Nominations for Andor S2 including outstanding drama. None for the 3 main actors though which is bit of a bummer.

still nice to see the show get recognized…

Yea I’m afraid Severance will just hoover all the big categories up. Andor will get a technical or artsy one for sure, but I’d love to see them get writing or drama. Severance was great too but Luthen was the best writing ever.

So I mentioned a few months back that during Star Wars celebration an exclusive Sith Apprentice Darth Vader Hot Toy was released out east with no potential chance of it ever coming out west due to how limited they were.

To say I’ve been on the search for one at a decent price would be a understatement. I borderline obsessed over obtaining one. It was a white whale of mine and while I did say I’d be living a frugal lifestyle which I’ve been. The opportunity came and I was able to get one within my price range so I jumped at the chance.

So next week, he will come home. I’m gonna see to it that he gets proper leather tabards down the line and will be customizing him a bit to make him into the quintessential fallen Jedi many love.

Pictures will follow in the Forum Gallery when it arrives, but in the meantime it’s just a matter of waiting.
