I feel the same way as a player. I do feel the mastery is a bit slow though.
Like I said as a fan of roguelike games like Spelunky as well as other procedural generated games like Terrarria and Minecraft a good target routine generator would bring this mode from a 6-7/10 curiosity up immediately to a must play 10/10
Speaking from limited experience obviously but all my targets so far have had routes through quiet spots and/or hazards. No idea how much itās thinking about this stuff but Iām sure itās smart enough not to pick someone completely stationary in the middle of a crowd, at least.
Does anyone know if the arms dealer freaks out if they catch you dragging a body?
Edit: Nope. They cool. lol
Thats kinda interesting but theyre still always going to be the old NPCs from the main mission. So as neat as that is Iād have liked some sort of formula programmed in to infinitely create new ones or at least randomize the routine of a set of pre-made ones. That being said, keep in mind I havent played it and thus if I say I really enjoy the mode in January itll be because I played it for the first time and the experience was different from what I guessed
Yes, that would be nice. Feels a bit like weāre giving our client a freebie when there are hoops we canāt jump through.
Has anyone else has the issue were Steam is saying that your code has already been used?
Because i do and i havenāt used it soooo
Please report to me ASAP if you have the same issue
So, as a console player who will only experience the CTT through the forum (I will purposely keep myself out of direct footage), Iām currently hyped up by some of the posts made.
I really like the idea that there is no SA rating, but that in exchange the map stays at the same alerted state for the whole 4 syndicates campaign if you get caught. And looking at the number of missions, returns to locations are bound to happen.
The items changes to the map seems nice too. I already play the game āloadout only, no item pickingā, so this seems promising.
Nonetheless, I also am tempered down by what was told of the maps, and takedow missions. Nothing that will outright kill my hype, but a bit of winding down there.
Itās still good, it was even my baseline on them.
But I will be lying if I said I did not expected more here. (The Ascensionist scale of change to the map was my expectation, not too much, but apt to make the locations general, one day amongst other, and evenly interesting gameplay wise).
Unless that is the case, and I just got it wrong (again, I can just read the forum presently, work travel with no good internet connection)
Anyway, my main expectation was to see all areas of the maps to be used (it seems to be true), and having all targets be interesting opportunity-wise (ditto). So still hyped by the returns here.
Itās not just a "random NPCs are targets, good luck if they are static and in public), which was my worst case scenario.
So, one question to the one with access : are the main story targets still on the maps ?
Just So that I can form a mature baseline for my future expectations.
Thanks for letting people like me who couldnāt participate in the test get a taste of how Freelancer looks. Iām really happy with what Iāve seen.
Also DARTMOOR CAMERAS.
When watching a stream I saw Yamazaki in Hokkaido, so it appears theyāre still present. Also jarringly enough itās possible to get major characters like Gregory Carlisle as syndicate members.
Damned.
Well, thanks for the information.
Anyone got this issue
Really need to start doing stuff like now
Welcome. Iām really sorry I played so bad and didnāt unlock the upper floor, yet.
I was also surprised about the cameras in Dartmoor
That problem fixed itself when Steam crashed while I was in the showdown mission. After restarting, the controller is working as intended.
⦠and Iām happy to share that abruptly closing the game didnāt fail the showdown!
So far, quite fun.
You need to reset your Hitman-brain quite a lot though. Early on itās impossible to get all of the optional objectives, because theyāre based on items you donāt have yet. Just suck it up.
If you fuck up you have to keep going, and so on. In essence it is what Elusive Targets are not.
But I appreciate it⦠and as someone who loves progression in games⦠making money, buying stuff, this is great.
The atmosphere established surrounding the safe house and 47 travelling (all the little videos playing during the loading screens) is great. I really like it.
I hope you unlock the ability to buy some items from your safe house later on, but you probably wonāt.
The thing that made me stop playing for now was a hard crash to desktop.
All I want to know isā¦Can I sit?
Same, I got Mendozaād again
I think thatāsa good thing so you donāt max out so fast. Itās a long term playing experience.
Thank for the quick reply guys, really helped
