I think the first is harder, because i know there will be necessary a lot of time playing always the same thing. It’s boring. Reaching prestige level 10 is simply something you do while you try to get 100 campaigns
There are a few places where a single device suffices - though right now I can only think of one
- on the rooftop of Chongqing. I sometimes also try to create such opportunities by making a guard pick up a weapon/briefcase and walk past two other guards on the way to store it.
You can put a concussive explosive in a briefcase?
This means that you could allow the guard to return the briefcase to the security hut and then blow the concussive device when all the guards are in the security hut within the perimeter of the explosion.
But you can’t put a fire extinguisher in a briefcase.
What is the difference between the micro versus remote tasers?
Do NPCs pick up the micro tasers too?
How much larger is the remote demo block explosion vs the rubber duck explosion?
Micro taser is invisible to everybody.
That means you can carry it in your hand freely and nobody will pick it up lying anywhere or report it to guards, because nobody sees it.
Well, maybe they do see it, but nobody cares
The proximity micro taser is noticed and picked up my NPCs.
So do NPCs (not only guards) pick up proximity micro tasers?
Do NPCs pick up remote tasers or do they have to be micro tasers?
It might make a difference whether the micro taser was placed vs tossed. I believe, when tossed, it acts as a distraction like a coin… And then it might be picked up, but I can’t say for certain.
The proximity micro taser is picked by both civilian and guard NPCs. You could consider it as a free kill, since pretty much works like a lethal coin.
The remote version isn’t noticed nor picked by NPCs unless you place it in a spot an NPC will put their hand, like the mailboxes in Whittleton Creek.
Only guards will pick up the “larger” tasers, civilians will just report them to the nearest guard.
So microtasers are considered in the class of coins that are picked up by NPCs.
Larger tasers are considered weapons not coins, that are reported to NPCs.
Is this right?
There is only one micro taser, the remote one.
It’s ignored by NPCs. They are not picking it up
Where did you find it?
Only in Freelancer mode. It’s with the tools.
One of the challenges is to kill Syndicate Leaders with natural poisons.
Will you get a challenge reward for:
(1) using lethal frogs ?*
(2) using lethal flowers ?*
*** only in Whittleton Creek, Ambrose Island, Santa Fortuna ***
(3) using fugu (Hokkaido) ?
Should work. But I’m not sure that frogs, flowers etc will work.
When I did this challenge if I remember correctly they didn’t work unless you craft a poison from them on a level. They might’ve changed it or it was a bug. I don’t know
Also you can use mushroom from the hideout and craft a poison from it
Frogs count. You can also craft the lethal poison needed in your safehouse using the mushroom in the distillation equipment.
This makes me want the proximity micro taser outside of Freelancer even more now. It’s not as OP as the Elec. Phone because you need to throw it - and it’s an illegal throw.
And I want it in the main game [for the millionth time, please, IOI devs] so that I can do my perfect World Of Tomorrow roleplaying run.
We’re winding down now, can you just chuck us the keys to the toy cupboard, please?
But this only counts with the lethal vial. If you make a lethal syringe out of the mushroom it doesn’t count anymore…
I know. That’s why I said the steps only until you turn the mushroom into the lethal consumed poison vial.
