Just in case you didn’t know, you can always use a weapon that is rarer than the requirement. If you need a “Rare” melee item, you can also use an “Epic” melee item to fulfill that requirement. The Collecter’s crowbar works well for that as it can also open doors so it’s a two-fer.
Same thing applies to guns - you can always go rarer.
It happens. When I was doing the Hardcore mode I ended up in Mumbai for a 12-suspect showdown not paying attention and all three prestige objectives were timed. I ended up going with timed silent take down and, well, that didn’t end all that well.
Colorado sucks in showdowns, but is okay otherwise, Sgail just has a strange amount of enforcers for guards (not done a showdown on it yet, but I can see it becoming an issue if the targets are in the top floors of the level), and SF is totally fine; not had any issue with it.
Legit my first mission in Colorado, with 4 targets, and I absolutely nailed it! Even got the challenge where you need to get 7,500 from mission payout lol.
And I freakin’ jinxed myself by saying how smooth that was… I’m back to Square One already! (And no money in my wallet)
If only I had another 2 seconds to exfiltrate here. Should’ve just shot him, much more quiet. Was aiming for a push kill, but that got out of hand too fast.
Flowers work for this, both the Santa Fortuna ones and those you can find in crates (although they’re kinda rare). What’s weird is that I used a frog from Ambrose and I think it counted towards it, but maybe it was a specific frog from Ambrose :x
OK I never thought of using the crowbar that way, that’s really clever. I would have to remember to swap it for the briefcase crowbar upon returning to the safehouse though :x
What does everyone have against Sgail, it’s a great level :x Aside from that psycho guard who patrols the castle and shoots without warning but he’s not particularly hard to avoid once you know he exists.
I’m with you in that. I want every weapon available in both the main game and Freelancer to be interchangeable. Same with the suits, too. You can’t wear a location’s default suit, because they don’t go into the delectable wardrobe, except for Hokkaido. That means I can’t wear the tactile gear to Colorado without that stupid hat, and the casual suit for Whittleton creek is the driving glove version. It sucks.
