Knocking out a courier 2 floors off the ground in on a balcony on Dartmoor with no guards in range to spot you, not cameras and what is in any other circumstance a silent take down results in immedate escalation to combat. After failing once I checked the room nearby. nobody was there. so the guard who sees me is using x-ray vision to see me from the ground level when he’s looking straight ahead(!).
I’m not sure this is a bug or by design, but it sure is some BS. What is a silent knock out in any other scenario has guards all over you immediately. And since other couriers on other maps do no have similar mechanic I’m going to expect ths IS a bug. A pretty serious bug at that.
Not a bug. It’s the same thing as the still in Mendoza where you can use an emetic flower / rat poison to get lethal poison. IIRC even Diana herself mentions you can make lethal poison here.
If it’s not a bug, then I feel it should be changed. I put emetic in, I should get emetic out. Kinda defeats the purpose to have emetic and lethal mushrooms then, imo.
You can already use the mushroom as an emetic so putting it through the distiller would be pointless that way. This way you get access to lethal poison.
Then you can use the machine in the infirmary to get matching syringe poisons for all three types.
What you should ask for is clarity. Instead of just “Produce Prison”, it can say “Produce Lethal Poison”.
Weirdly enough I had this happen for the first time, today. It was in Dubai and the target stood below the chandler/light thing in the VIP area. It’s almost like they were asking to be killed.
One of the higher-up guards in the New York bank is apparently immune to chloroform so he can enter the security room with the chloroformed A/C running and nothing would happen to him. He’d just keep trying to wake everyone else up again and again and again. This has only happened once (so far).
Also emetic poison is an incredibly common find on pretty much every map, so it probably wouldn’t be too useful to have the machine create it in the safehouse.
I agree but again missing the point. If I can start with it, then I don’t have to go find it. If I’m going to Colorado and doing an SA/SO run, I don’t want to be putting myself in more danger by going around the map to find it.
The point I’m trying to make is I put emetic in, I would like emetic out. Same with syringes. If I want lethal poison, I’ll go fishing.
But all those free chairs would leave 47’s back exposed in a public area. 47 is sitting in a way that keeps his back to the wall, allowing him to survey the entire area. That’s basic tradecraft…
At some point the cutscene showing 47 drinking wine upon spawning in the safehouse bugged hard and now it always spawns him in the basement, drinking from an invisible glass, and while he’s doing so the camera can go completely out of bounds :x
Maybe a bug… idk. I spied out target, had her pick up Pale Duck, isolated her and shot a gun at floor, she starts to escape and I blow her up as she’s fleeing.
However I did NOT get the “Eliminate Target while Escaping” objective. Normal or not?
I am having the same issue with Prank Caller. I somehow manage progress 3 different times. All it says is, “Arrange 10 meetings using Burner Phones.” I take out a Suspect early, arranged a meeting, other Suspects responds, and nothing. I bought my time to isolate the Leader, without marking as I don’t know how yet. Eliminate, arrange meeting, Suspects responds, nothing. I even took out several Suspects to leave two Suspects behind. Eliminate one, call the other, nothing. However, after eliminating the Leader then call the remaining only Suspect, it counted, once. Then I repeated the last scenario in another Show Down, got nothing. It’s inconsistent and stupid. Even the Prestige Objective doesn’t count, but only tried once with several phones.
