I found the Fuse in the Safehouse and used it for the garage door, now I can’t make the bomb! No other Fuse to be found, nor can I remove and use the one for the garage door.
Has anyone experienced that the Surgical knife
in the SH next to the hospital bed can’t be grabbed every time?.. weird.
If you’re playing on Xbox One, you need to upgrade to Series X, fixed that problem for me and a few others here. If you’re playing on something else, can’t help you.
Although it’s not for all players, the issue is predominantly on both PS4 and Xbox One. I’ve not seen anyone on here post issues around the fuse when playing on the Series X/S and PS5.
I’ve recently ( 1 week ago… ) reinstalled the game after having serious issues with the game crashing on PS4. I’m on PS5 now, and although everything has been good so far, just today, I can no longer pick up the fuse. No prompt. Seems like no bombs for me either…
Well, the issue seemed to affect Xbox users for a longer duration, and we have at least two members of the forum, myself included, who can confirm that the issue instantly resolved and never repeated again after upgrading from the Xbox One to the Xbox Series X. So something about the platforms used appears to play a part, at least to some degree.
idk why IOI doesn’t fix this or make it where we can find a fuse cell in a mission and bring it home. 47 is a clepto, so him stealing something like a fuse and bringing it home is not out of character. Honestly I think the biggest issue is just where IOI put the fuse. they should move it to somewhere more accessible. I know they can make big changes to freelancer, they did it when they added a whole new wall for dlc weapons.
Reason I ask is because like @Heisenberg said, he was previously on Xbox One, where the issue of the missing fuse was persistent. I believe the same was also occurring on PS4, but can’t fully confirm. It doesn’t appear to be occurring on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, but I don’t know why it only happens on the previous gen consoles?
