Hey,
It was intentionally removed, after it was reported several times. It contained elements that could be taken the wrong way and after talking to Fuzks we decided to remove it.
I see heās replying, but you need to know⦠Those types of contracts (food kills) arenāt liked very much because theyāre seen as very difficult since they require a precise method to get them done. You have to know exactly how to do it. Even if you tell players how to do it in the briefing - that will not guarantee that theyāll still read it.
I tried to submit a lethal thrown red-tie Kiwi kill method for a featured contract once and got a good deal of criticism over it. In hindsight, Iām glad that it was never chosen.
Hmmm. I wonder what the elements were that led to its removal. There was nothing bad about the briefing that I can recall, was it something in the tile image that had an unintended meaning?
Hmm. I hope it wasnāt removed because of the image. If that was the case, Iād have tried to fix whatever the issue was
Iām gonna make an apricot kill contract just to spite you
Apricot is coin glitch not food kill, both are quite annoying.
tho acrophobia is still there and it has a similar image
If it is image, the only thing I could think of (and I could be way off here) is the implication of shooting a person of colour in the back unprovoked.
To spite me? How? With the fruit (apple, muffin, banana) kills you have to have the right ārecipeā to shoot with - not just the right type of gun, but so many shots in the arm or leg, so many shots in the body, or hand. Then itās a roll of the dice whether the food item will kill them if you havenāt killed them already with the bullets to wear them down.
I can only imagine gripes over the coin/apricot/ducker/kiwi (etc.) lethal throw technique are either confusion on how to make it work, or a relatively high level of dexterity required to make it work. Perhaps their lock-on is dropping when trying to enter the inventory to make the item switch.
My current food kill recipe is 2 silverballers to the leg and one kruger to the chest for men, and four krugers to the leg for women, which allows for a single-food kill. Bit annoying to bring two guns, and distance also makes a difference (you have to be close for this) but Iād love a better recipe if anybody has one.
I donāt think I ever posted my full notes but here they are, unsorted and unfiltered if anybody wants a look.
My old food-kill data collection from Hitman 2
results: 7 hackl S coverts to the legs = kill. 6 shots = 11 muffins to kill, so 6 shots = 89 damage. 14.833 damage per legshot (0.8333 = 5 divided by 6).
5 legshots + 1 chest = kill
3 chest + 2 leg = kill
3 chest + 1 leg + 2 muffin = kill
krugermeier is 24.25 damage per legshot, requiring 4 shots and 3 muffins to kill. 3 kruger chest shots + 14 muffins did not kill.
2 silverballer to leg + 1 kruger to chest + 1 muffin = kill.
armshots count as chest shots
male: 3 silverballer shot to legs = kill
male: 2 silverballer shot to legs + 28 apples = kill
male: 4 kruger leg shot + 3 apples = kill
male: 5 kruger leg shot = kill
male: 4 kruger to chest = kill
female: 1 silverballer shot to legs + 22 apples = kill
female: 1 kruger chest shot + 27~ apples = kill
female: 1 silverballer to chest + 14 apples + kill
female: 2 kruger leg shot + 17 apples = kill
female: 3 kruger leg shot + 9 apples = kill
female: 4 kruger leg shot + 1 apple = kill
kruger to chest = 27 damage, est.
silverballer to legs = 36 damage, est.
kruger to legs = 24.25 or 8 damage?!, est.
2 kruger shots to female chest should be lethal. assume 54 hp? but apparently itās 34 apples to kill them according to someone else? do men have 100 hp?
I think a mod showing an NPCās health meter would be easier to go by than to even fathom trying to remember all that stuff. I wonder if a conscious NPC would differ from a KOād NPC? Oh well. The good thing is Iāll never have to worry about that.
Itād be cool if somone could list all the featured contracts from 2016 to now which arent available in H3. so thereās this one and the facebook crash course but thereās also ALL of 2016
Yeah I wish there was some kind of āreverse HCCEā tool that could gather contract data from the H1 servers, which could then easily be recreated with HCCE proper.
