Oh I have to play as Basim. Did they finally run out of interesting Assassins to make games about?
I like to call it creative bankruptcy even though they know the fanbase doesnât like basim.
Giving it was a scrapped AC Valhalla DLC its probably not going to have anything new or good in it. Lets hope im wrong as i loved the classic AC games!
I may be one of the only people who sorta does like him.. I want to know more of his past thats all.
It looks like the UKâs Competition and Marketing Authority are not going to rubber stamp Microsoftâs acquisition of Activision / Blizzard. They are inviting a more in-depth âphase 2â investigation from an independent panel before a decision can be reached.
Itâs good to see the UK authorities are doing their job by asking these searching questions, but I really liked Phil Spencers follow-up and his transparency and willingness to answer the challenges.
It should also be pointed out that the UK are quite console agnostic when it comes to these matters. The Competition Appeal Tribunal recently filed a ÂŁ5 billion (~$5.9 billion) law-suit against Sony for overcharging people for games.
Well if the remasters+remake rumours are indeed true, that would be nice, particularly if MGS3 finally makes it to PC. Though if it happens, fingers crossed that theyâll actually optimize the games for PC controls properlyâŚ
what an absolute fuckwit
Amazing how some people can´t keep their idiotic worldviews to themselves or at least vent them in a different environment then the one that is potentially generating them revenue. You can´t let people who might buy your game know that you´re a fuckwit
Particularly since the game actually looked really interesting. I added it to my wishlist a while back, but after noticing the controversies surrounding the author and his patch notes (the anti-mask ones at that time), I postponed any intention to buy indefinitely (which has now become definite apparently).
Iâd argue thatâd be worse and only intensify the problem â if they can find an echo chamber of their own twisted views, it could only reinforce them rather than having it be challenged in the court of public opinion.
I honestly think if this version was released back then, the franchise would be still alive and chewing bubblegum.
Indeed it would have. Doom 3 and HL2 was 3 years away from release and DNF2001 already had feature that would be in those games. Instead of being innovative, DNF ended up as a joke. A bad one.
Hope one they weâll see the 2002 build which is considered the most complete version before they scrapped everything
Modders will put that content to good use
Sweet new Sterling video going up soon!
Airhead, a Metroidvania game with a difference, was announced in 2021 and hopefully is due to release sometime later this year for all major platforms. I found a really interesting interview with developer and Octatoâs co-founder, Andreas Bødker:
Thereâs a YouTube link on the page if you want to see the showcase video.
I mean they couldnât even implement rain because of limitations which is weird because the game engine was build on the same one from Agents of MayhemâŚ
Wow, I hate to be harsh but that was nothing but piss poor excuses.
I mean wouldnât that mean pretendingAoM was the height of technological achievement and not a generic hero shooter Volition made to cash in on the hero shooter craze. Not like it was a benchmark or anything.
Hell even not having rain still makes it leagues better than 4 which didnât even have a day/night cycle or any weather at all. In fact every Saints Row(eve the new one) is better than 4.
i dunno, man. iâm no dev or anything, but if making working doors in games is super hard (or so i hear), i canât imagine making a decent weather cycle is particularly easy either.
like, iâm sure they wouldâve added it if they could because, well, why not? it couldâve been fucking up all kinds of stuff though, so maybe it was for the best?
