Does this mean… Codename 47 Portable?

Sadly no because C47 doesn’t have gamepad support BUT maybe you can connect a keyboard / mouse through bluetooth :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats a no for me then. Mr Abrak, Mr Newell, you know what you have to do to make me buy one of these.

Well it’s not his fault that the game doesn’t have xinput / directinput support and only the game developers can fix that :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, then we are lost.

It’s a try though I’m not sure how effective it will be

I’ve been really skeptical about this and its value since it was announced yestarday, but then I realised… my entire steam library will work with this. Hundreds of games, titles, that can decently run on the device (probably better than my sad laptop), my whole backlog… that I’ve already spent years amassing will work.

The price is kinda crazy, but I won’t need to shell out money on top of that to get titles for this new device… I’ve already got plenty!
(Still not getting it — I’m in no position to do so right now – but it feels a lot more worth it now.)

Edit: Actually, it’s within reason – it’s gotta be a linux for it to work out of the box. But if you can really install windows smoothly? Ohhh then it’s on.

There needs to be some serious reorganization at Ubi and a lot of weeds to be cut

The replies are fantastic, it is a perfect mix of mental gymnastics, defensiveness, contrarianism and utter hypocrisy from the G*mers.

EDIT: Aaaaand they changed the title!

Oh no, as an offline player of PES, i hope they haven’t gotten rid of Master League, will this be better financially for them?

After 8 years in development, 4-5 delays and multiple reboots, last one being in 2020, Ubi still doesn’t know what they want to do with this game

I was originally going to put up the New York Times article but I remembered it has a paywall.

Here is the short of it.

In the office, women are subjected to “cube crawls” in which male employees drink copious [amounts] of alcohol as they “crawl” their way through various cubicles in the office and often engage in inappropriate behavior toward female employees. Male employees proudly come into work hungover, play video games for long periods of time during work while delegating their responsibilities to female employees, engage in banter about their sexual encounters, talk openly about female bodies and joke about rape.

Female employees are subjected to constant sexual harassment, including having to continually fend off unwanted sexual comments and advances by their male co-workers and supervisors and being groped at the “cube crawls” and other company events. High-ranking executives and creators engaged in blatant sexual harassment without repercussions.

In a particularly tragic example, a female employee committed suicide during a business trip with a male supervisor who had brought butt plugs and lubricant with him on the trip.

Somehow I feel/fear ML will be one of those DLCs. I’ve never actually played PES before. Only just purchased PES2021 on sale before it gets delisted and also because there were signs Konami’s gonna do some shit with the series,so glad I did…

Lol at this point it seems like they’re either gonna silently drop it or turn it into another free-to-play MMO with a shitload of paywalls :joy:

Today’s gonna be a fun day.

The EA Play livestream starts later today (10am Pacific Time/1pm Eastern Time)

The new Battlefield is going to be featured at some point. I’m eager for more info on it.

I also need to catch up on the IOI Stream when I have time, so tonight’s gonna be a fun recap watch party!

I mean, wow. I don’t know but I think Battlefield 2042 Portal looks pretty damn impressive.

6 maps, as well as factions, guns, vehicles etc from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3, available with a ton of mixing options, as well as all the stuff from 2042. I mean, I think that’s creative, interesting, and a good dollop of content. Does feel like a slightly odd choice of past games though, I don’t really see how Bad Company 2 is much different from Battlefield 3 besides the maps, especially when they got released quite close to each other. Interesting how it is stuff from the very first game, 1942, that is getting included, rather than Battlefield V. Wonder if they’ll add maps and stuff from other games as time goes on, seems like Battlefield One and Battlefield Hardline would add some very interesting stuff into the mix theoretically.

Wonder what Hazard Zone. Does make me wonder if that is going to turn out to be some kind of battle royale mode.

Wow that does indeed look seriously impressive.

It’s like a huge community game mode maker, and the fact that it’s across multiple generations of BF is really cool.

Hvaing lots of pre-made modes at launch is gonna be cool.

It could very well be. If it it BR, I hope they release that for free. Firestorm in BFV really didn’t get a lot of love, and apart from that one month where it was a PS+ title, I wasn’t able to get into any games before then.
The game mode needs players, and having that split across multiple other modes in a premium 60$ price tag certainly doesn’t help.

EA Play live also announced GRID Legends. This will be Codemasters’ 2nd title under the EA brand, after F1 2021:

  • It will have multiple disciplines like touring cars, open wheelers, and racing trucks, etc. Multiclass races will likely be a feature, too.

  • Extended Reality cutscenes and story will be there, most likely similar to F1 2021.

Personally, I have never played any Grid game before, but this might just be interesting enough for me. The series will likely sit between the more simulation-oriented Project Cars and the arcadey racing series Need for Speed, all being under the EA brand now.
