It is years ago I played it but I remember that the movement forced the camera too much and too readily to point into the direction of movement. That is fine for controller where you “hold” the stick into the direction you want to look at while moving. But on PC you cannot “keep to look there” with the mouse because the mouse has no “middle position” like an analogue stick. You always have to actively move the mouse there again to fight the automatic look-forward. Which also requires to lift the mouse to have the space again.
Some free to play players are allowed to chat in tf2 again but it seems kinda weird and inconsistent who can and can’t
Ok yeah this is just my favourite update ever now

C24 be vibing in minecraft now ![]()

Also, Helldivers 2 new Major Update!
“…Battle On Super Earth is inevitable.”
- Illuminates are back and with big new enemy units!
- (The secret livestream showed off a teaser of the spooky return of the squids)
- Weapon Upgrades and Customization is now a thing!!

- Superstore (Premium Store of items) now will show all premium items all the time! FOMO is dead!!!

For anyone who wants to see it, that was the end of the Helldivers’ STATION-81 event.
Expanded Surplus
The Superstore is also getting an emergency expansion to boost your arsenals for the fight. No more waiting for items to come back into rotation–now the items you want are always available, ready to stock your ship and armor your Helldivers with items you might have missed the first time around.
Leather being more common loot sounds good, our world we play here is a peaceful survival world and we try to not kill anything. My flatmate usually is spending hours fishing to get leather and magical books. ![]()
I wish we could cut leather items into leather.
Main takeaway from the TCM article:
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will not be receiving any further future content or support. This means that there will be no more DLC, balance updates, or bug fixes, after our upcoming May patch.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will still be playable and is NOT being delisted from store fronts.
(I’m sure at some point it inevitably will be, but not for the foreseeable future it seems)
And that Ronin outfit might make me start using Punisher a bit again…
I want to add to this.
So firstly, Gun Media had a few content updates planned for this game that was either announced or within the files with stuff being added as early as the most recent patch.
- Kill Packs
- Hair Pack
- Map
- Victim
- Family Member
- Leatherface Skin
and more.
Reading this article from their website, I simply want to make it known that they didn’t achieve their vision. They’ve struggled with content updates from black tower who reigned the live content support for the latter half of this games life. TCM didn’t reach the full potential, they’ve announced stuff, said it was coming, and even stuff got leaked.
Gun having the audacity to tease their new game is ballsy. And whatever comes next for them. Buyer beware. The F13 lawsuit was one thing, but this Gun just cutting support and glorifying their success.
They are now 0-2 with asymmetrical multiplayer-only horror games being successful. (both being shut down/ended support abruptly)
Like, we know it’ll be delisted at some point. We know official servers will probably be shut down. It’ll go the same way as F13
That’s a horrible look for Gun, and I feel for the horror fans who just can’t get a dedicated good game on their specific favourite franchise. Especially those who’ve been burned by Gun twice now (though the writing may have been on the wall for a while)
Seems no one can beat the King, Dead By Daylight. I mean, when that game consolidates multiple different horror IP, it’s gotta be really tough to catch, or at least get a piece of that MP pie…
The Steam and AppStore pages for Persona5: The Phantom X are now up its global release should be June 26th
Im guessing most of the people that liked this tweet didn’t know it was for a gacha game
Also some kingdom hearts 4 screenshots from their twitter
I’ve been keeping an eye on P5X, and am glad to see it finally get an English worldwide release. I’ve heard good things about the story of it so far, and having so many characters has meant each has gotten their own social links.
But obviously, the big sticking point is that it is a gacha title. Again, I’ve heard that playing for free is decent, lots of free events and stuff. Although I’ve also read that so far, the game hasn’t performed very well in China and South Korea, which considering how flooded the market is there with gacha titles, I’m not too surprised. I find it rather amazing that P5X only got a Japanese release today, it’s been out in China for like a year now. Perhaps a statement about how big the Chinese market is, especially for a game which is literally set in Tokyo.
I will be trying it out and seeing how it goes. I do plan to try it and not paying for it. Guess the question is how much progress you can gain that way, and how much slower it is, where I hope it isn’t so slow I simply go “screw this, I’ll just go play the actual Persona 5 instead?”
Summer game shows are just around the corner, if the rumours are true we could be seeing a Persona 4 remake announced there, like with Persona 3 Reload 2 years back. Or hell, maybe Persona 6 can finally materialise.
I came across a very interesting (and very sad) article about SUPERHOT VR having its story scenes completely removed from the game. This changes the game’s experience and gameplay/narrative harmony into a joke of its former self.
(Originally from 2021)
(The stories of OG Superhot and Superhot Mind Control Delete are still intact and retain the exact same themes of power fantasy + mindless consumption vs. dangerous reprogramming/VR habits. But in VR, ironically, it’s now just a power fantasy to mindlessly consume in the most immersive way possible. Yikes.)
The game was bombarded with negative reviews for a short time, but as new players who bought SUPERHOT VR didn’t know it was missing anything, the reviews went back to reflecting the (still very good) gameplay shortly after.
Damn.
Poor VR volks!
But this reminds me that I wanted to try out the OG game, thanks. ![]()

I know the voice actor said he was ok with it but I still don’t really like this

James has been allowing his voice for A.I since Kenobi. Nothing new here. It’s soulless yes, but Vader is a very specific example where Voice Actors can get close, but never fully get James Voice. It’s why some Kenobi they had Hayden do the lines, but used A.I to get James voice then spliced the two together for a very haunting combo.
…Did anyone inform James that generative LLM AI uses up tons of natural resources and pollutes the environment? Or even about generative AI at all? ![]()
Ohh jeez… this whole ‘AI’ trend is still very much in its infancy.
It’s pushing companies to cross ethical lines in a new way to ‘train’ these bots, it’s horrible for the climate, it’s still very basic and prone to fault, and as evidenced by many “we hooked this bot up to the internet and it somehow became racist” is very easily manipulated to say some craaazy shit…
People have already gotten this ‘Darth Vader’ to swear or even say the F-slur.
Great job Disney. Great job Epic. Great job James’ Estate!

I’m really hoping James was just uninformed or unaware of the specifics of various AI uses, because ugh, while I appreciate him being very open and allowing his iconic voice to live on after him, I doubt it was intended to be used in an always-active robot that anyone can ask or say literally anything to, consequences be damned.
James Earl felt that the voice of Darth Vader was inseparable from the story of Star Wars*, and he always wanted fans of all ages to continue to experience it. We hope that this collaboration with Fortnite will allow both longtime fans of Darth Vader and newer generations to share in the enjoyment of this iconic character.*
- The family of James Earl Jones
I know, I know.
It’s nice that James wants his iconic voice to live on after his death and I agree it might be hard to find anyone to replace the character’s voice, but at the same time, it’s already gotten Darth Vader to say some of the strangest and awful stuff, making it look bad on the character, the system they’re using, and the short-sightedness of all companies involved.
I don’t think
“You will NEVER use profanity, insults or derogatory language”
is enough of a deterrent for learning-language programs given how many times I’ve seen them easily able to be manipulated to go off-book or against “programmed/enforced rules”
Okay, does this whole AI Darth Vader impact my life at all? No. But I absolutely hate AI, its environmental impact, and how prevalent Big Tech is trying to make it obligatory despite various shortcomings, faults, and privacy concerns related…
So regardless of what James has said or his family has allowed, I think it’s a very clear mistake they’re doing this and I’ll keep speaking out against AI. ![]()
