the game industry is beyond fucked in my opinion, from terrible work environments, to godawful modern monetazation and trends such as the terribly bland open world genre. Iam hoping, praying for a game developers union or a massive developer, player and monetary reform within this industry as it cant go on like this

I’m loving this. $700 for a recreation of the chess set from the opening of Kingdom Hearts 3… but you can’t actually play chess on it, since the board is diagonal, it is merely decrotive. I guess you can transplant the pieces onto an actual chess board but still though, perhaps they could of taken a little bit of creative licence?
Oddly enough though, I can see the appeal. I own a Isle of Lewis chess set and it makes for a nice display piece. My piano teacher that was hand carved somewhere in Africa which was gorgeous.

Technically gaming news but Earthworm Jim’s animated series is being brought back. Jim’s voice and series creator Doug TenNapel will not be involved due to his history of controversial remarks and general poor behaviour.
I have no idea who asked for this or why producer’s thought it wanted a revival. I just though some of you might be interested.
