Performance/Quality Modes.

Updated Visuals/Lighting

Higher Frames

Various Quality of Life fixes.

The normal deal. Cause atleast for me on Series X its pretty jarring when you see stuff break like facial animations for example.

Really hoping for an RDR2 upgrade, been meaning to go back to it but I’m holding out for a remaster. 60fps looks mind-blowing

So, is there anyone going to watch game awards tomorrow? I would, but I don’t want to stay up to 5:00 A.M. to be dissapointed, even if they reveal new games.

I will be cause I live in ‘merica

I will, since thankfully it’s at 8pm for me.

Though I’m still annoyed that it’s increasing in “WORLD PREMIERE Reveals” and more of the awards are shifted to the side, given out off-screen or announced in a rapid-fire burst of 10 seconds from Geoff.
I want to hear the composers speak, damnit!

But more game? You don’t like game?

Back before they found out they could milk a game indefinitely in MP? Oh yeah, those were the days… Even better were those when they made no expansions at all and just started working on a new game

Man, if anything, they should remaster RDR1 and finally port it to PC. I mean the map already is in RDR2 afaik, isn´t it?

well… sort of, yeah.

Way I see it, “sort of, yeah” is better than “no”

On another note, I am very much liking the look/design of the map in Vicky 3 so far:

Easier said than done. Anyone with a ounce of knowledge knows how broken RDR1 is in terms of how it was made. If anything a Remake would need to happen cause the only reason it runs on Xbox One/ Series X is through emulation.

Yes and No. While it seems like a 1-1 remake of the RDR1 Map with a lot of familiar locals it’s bigger and more detailed so while environments are similar in terms of scale they are different.

As I mentioned above it would be easier for Rockstar to just Remake the first game cause it saves the hassle of navigating the spaghetti coding that is barely holding the 360 and PS3 versions. The Map and Assets are already there. They would just be spending a bulk of their time working on Mexico.

You´re right, a remake was actually what I had in mind, basically using RDR2´s assets for the job rather than the original ones (though probably sticking with the original voice recordings if possible). Bad choice of words on my part

are the previous victoria’s (?) good? i really dig stellaris and ck3 looked ace, so i’m wondering if it’s worth looking into other paradox strategy games.

I’m indifferent to both.

Well you see one is really fun and another is repetitive and riddled with micro transactions.

“think Assassins Creed […], with stealth”

I’m old enough to remember when AC had stealth :man_shrugging:

@Swangtheugly is Kojima really that bad with microtransactions?

People say that yet I played Origins and Odyssey, had some fun and didn’t give them a single fucking cent.

So am I but I also remember Assassin’s Creed never made stealth a real focus, it was just a part of the games. Like the first game always had stealth all the way until you had to kill the target then it was combat until you had to hide.

Also the game still has stealth.
