The Supreme Court has upheld the Indian Child Welfare Act, allowing authorities to continue to prioritize placing Native children within their families or Native communities.

And shitbird Abbott has decided to join DeSantis in using migrants for political theater.

Given most of the migrants DeSantis dumped into The Vineyard were from Texas detention centres and that he expressed solidarity with the original dumping in Mass. this should come as no surprise.

It would be a shame if Gavin Newsom decided to bus a substantial portion of homeless people from his state to Austin. Better yet dump them all in Boca Chica and let Elmo sort that shit out and kill two birds with one stone.

Yea man for so long it was just Audi and Toyota that were competitive and then just Toyota. Now that Ferrari is back Toyota will have to maybe abandon their “first and last stint will be driven by a Japanese driver” model and just use their best driver.

I loved seeing Ferrari win, but I felt bad for Charles Leclerc sitting in the garage watching Antonio Giovinanzi win a massive race when he just won’t have a chance at even a normal race win this year bc their F1 cars are so uncompetitive.

The Justice Department has released the results of a two-year investigation into the Minneapolis Police Department that began after the murder of George Floyd. Its findings are as damning as they are unsurprising.

https://apnews.com/article/george-floyd-minneapolis-police-investigation-19d384c2d90b186b627f9d8cf1d5be2e

The investigation found that Minneapolis officers used excessive force, including “unjustified deadly force,” and violated the rights of people engaged in constitutionally protected speech.

The probe also found that both Minneapolis police and the city discriminated against people with “behavioral health disabilities” when officers are called for help.

“For years, MPD used dangerous techniques and weapons against people who committed at most a petty offense and sometimes no offense at all,” the report said. Police “used force to punish people who made officers angry or criticized the police.”

You know, seeing how little tolerance for bullshit the Romanian judicial system seems to have, at least regarding this case, I actually wonder how harsh a sentence Ort-Meyer would have got if he’d been convicted for all the shit he pulled.

With the corruption in Romania back then (more so than it is nowadays) and considering his ties with Providence, the other Fathers and the ICA, I think everything he did would have been swept under the rug.

Nah, it’s mostly because there’s pressure coming from other countries. If the girls were only Romanian, he would have got off scot-free. Romania’s juridical system is corrupted to the core.

Well then they’re sure putting on a show for this one. Maybe it’ll be a kick in the ass for them to get with the program.

Well, I did say if he were convicted, so I’m hypothesizing that very scenario ending in failure and the law having its way with him.

And republicans are still pisses, because this brings their bullshit about investigating the Biden’s in order to make Trump look not so bad to an end, regardless of what they say about the investigation being ongoing.

A federal judge has ruled that Arkansas’ ban on gender-affirming care is unconstitutional. This ruling only strikes down the Arkansas law, but could be an important precedent as challenges to similar laws in other states make their way through the courts.

To add a few things :

  • the feud between Wagner and the Russian MoD was always present (you might remember a post about it from October 22)
  • it’s still crossing a line
  • Prigozhin says that he will make a “march for justice” (a direct quote) to “deal with the traitors” (dito) with his “25.000 men” (claimed), to show the deception of Shoigu and other MoD leaders.
  • He still reassures that “this is not a military coup”, in other world : nothing against Putin

Currently :

  • FSB has opened a criminal investigation on his “public call for a coup”
  • The Citadel protocol might have been implemented in Moscow and Roscov (seizing/locking of communication and force centers, police fully mobilized)
  • Putin has arrived in the Kremlin to answer the situation

Also worth to point out, according to Prigozhin, he is fully loyal for Putin and accepts him as the leader of all military actions. He blames the military staff to misinform Putin about the current events in the Ukraine and now also to misinform Putin in a way that made him believe he had to strike before the NATO invades Russia.

I guess he tries to raise ranks and play a major role below Putin, maybe to take his seat too if he gets that far. He is pretty much untouchable in Russia and one of the only who can dare to say something like that.

Now this will change or Shoigu will fall, one of the two. Dunno what difference that would make for the Ukraine. It sounds like he would like to end this war but one should not believe him any word.

EDIT: Rumors going around that Russian troops attack Wagner mercenaries right now.
