There will possibly be more to come also. The Fulton County Grand Jury is expected to vote on indictments on whether or not Trump, his campaign, or White House staff at the time broke any election laws in the state of Georgia.
I was always a Lizzo fan, so this kinda hits me hard Of course, full solidarity with the dancers. If these allegations are true, then Lizzo must of course be prosecuted.
Yet another reason why I avoid glorifying stars. I prefer to stick to my favourite fictional character Grey cannot disappoint me at all
I personally disconnect the stars from their artistic successes. Yes, any future works they do will be tainted with the knowledge of what they’ve done, but I don’t suddenly stop watching or listening to what they’ve already done that I already liked just because their personal lives turned out to contain horrible stuff.
For example, I learned just yesterday that Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen in the Arrowverse, is not only against the writers and actors strike taking place, but is an overall asshole according to everyone who worked with him at that network. Now while that sucks and might taint any future works of his I may watch, I’d any, that’s not gonna change how much I love Arrow at all. It just tells me that I wouldn’t want to hang out with the main actor, and if it turns out someday he ends up in jail for having done even more heinous shit, well, sorry Steve, I’m just gonna remember your character fondly, but you’re on your damn own.
The great orange douche-nozzle has pled not guilty to being a traitorous bastard.
Meanwhile, three of his supporters in Michigan, including last years Republican candidate for Attorney General, have been charged for their attempts to access and tamper with voting machines after the 2020 election.
I attempt to know as little about celebrity lives and habits as possible for just that reason.
I didn’t see The Flash. Everyone I know assumed it was because of Ezra Miller doing whatever Ezra Miller did. No, it was because I wasn’t interested in watching a dead franchise’s last (or near to last) movie.
Earlier today the military junta in Niger expelled delegates from multiple countries. It now looks like diplomacy won’t be able to deal with the Niger coup crisis. In response the President of Nigeria has asked parliament to approve new sanctions to Niger along with approval to invade Niger to restore the previous government.
Watch Cape Fear instead. It’s a better movie and instead of a sleazy man being a super hero. You get Robert De-Niro being a sleazy man who is a villain.
ECOWAS has been given the green light to intervene in Niger. ECOWAS members announced they are mobilizing there armed forces with the goal of restoring the previous government. Considering the army size the military junta in Niger and it’s allies have together compared to ECOWAS they basically have no realistic way to commit to any longterm sucessful offensives in ECOWAS countries. It’s likely they will simply just be on the defensive as coalition forces enter Niger.
