First video game of 2021 discussed in the top ten list for 2021, covered within the first 3 minutes and 1/2 or so:

Perhaps we can rally the Xbox troops to show their appreciation for Hitman 3 at TrueAchievements? In the previous rounds, Hitman 3 has been smashing it, but currently it is behind in a vote-off against Guardians of the Galaxy. Youâll need an account at TA to vote.

It appears so. This round has only just gone live, but as of posting it is currently 251 for Hitman 3 and 314 for Guardians of the Galaxy.

I donât think itâs cheap at all. Itâs just a friendly heads-up for members here who 1) play on Xbox, and 2) already have accounts at TA. Weâre hardly going to tip the balance significantly, but some members here might be a bit upset if they found out later that this vote had been going on and they could have made a bit of a difference.

A close contest, but alas! Hitman 3 was knocked out at the quarter-final stage. The final vote was 792 for Hitman 3 and 841 for Guardians of the Galaxy. Even if it did beat Guardians, it would have been up against Halo Infinite in the semi-finals. I suspect Halo will be in the final, but it will be very interesting to see what happens in the other semi-final leg: Psychonauts 2 vs Forza Horizon 5. Either of those could beat Halo.
