HITMAN 3 announcements

But it is? The Upgrade Pack for Part One owners is also 60% off. So if they buy Part One + the Upgrade, it’s 60% off the price of buying it in one package.

You know what would be useful to have on the page then? The Upgrade Pack.

Or just 60% off the full listing.

Why? It would just add to the confusion.

Its better that its hidden and relies on things in-game to let people know it exists imo.

I only need the Hitman 3 levels but they refuse to sell them to me without a bunch of extras that I already have. I keep checking in every time something changes to see if that’s an option, and still nope

Okay, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone post about this, but IOI has (had?) a current initiative to make its games more accessible and to learn from the people themselves who need it.

They also seemed to have hosted 3 Q&A interviews with prominent accessibility consultants and advocates last year. (Oct. 2022, Nov. 2022, Apr. 2023)

This is a really nice discovery, and a very needed change in IOI’s game design. They’ve made great strides over the course of Hitman 3 (I particularly like the Toggle Sprint options they finally added) but I’ve felt like they definitely could do more to have a dedicated Accessibility Menu.
I mean, I still don’t think we have any colour-blind options for the game! That’s like… standard in games these days!

The game has reached 75 million of players.

Bit of a meaningless number tbh. The vast majority of those players will be people that downloaded the Free Starter Pack, played it once and never purchased a thing.

Congratulations IOI!! :clap:t2::clap:t2::grin:

Great news for Hitman! As the franchise has and continues to attract new players, hopefully this means we get a new Hitman game in development quicker than we expect :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Is 75 millionen much? I mean compared to other games. I don’t know how many people play games these days.

And does 75 million players imply 75 million purchases of H3, or could that figure be lower?

We‘ve been discussing the announcement over here as well: Hitman News Thread

On the high number I wrote:

I didn’t think about it at first, but you’re right. The 75 million number must include sales from H1 & H2. 75M for H3 alone, would put the game in the top 4 spot of best-selling games overall, even before Red Dead Redemption 2, which is a much bigger title (List of best-selling video games - Wikipedia). Technically, number of players and sales aren’t even the same, since some players own the game on more than one platform/launcher.
