HITMAN 3 announcements

Again I would like to point out that most outlets were given the overall functioning PC version of the game. The the sum total reviews on Metacritic for the console versions are negative. Whether it is “generic” or not is a matter of subjective measurement but Cyberpunk isn’t bereft of certain quality hallmarks.

Attacking journalist means you are attacking a strawman in a field surrounded by ravens. You are missing the real enemy here and it is CDPR’s management and advertising departments with the scummy tactics they deployed during the review period.

HITMAN 2016 had good ones too.

I’m guessing user-made contracts will have to be remade to be present in Hitman 3, right?

for some reason Many a True Nerd had a random H3 stream today where he checked out Paris, Sapienza, and Miami.

not much to say, but i love the new title name popup in the bottom left whenever you start a mission  also lots and lots of reflections everywhere in the Legacy maps. good stuff

It’s awesome how a few colour changes can make something look cool and new. I like that menu style.

Not much to say? The bartender in the installation has an accent of some sort. Around two minutes in where Stuyvesant is talking about well-aged booze

BWOOOOOM. The soundtrack was terrible.

Looks great, did he skip H2 cutscenes? Also the fact they have the other levels still have all eight mission stories guided is something I disagree with. Makes the new levels look smaller.

Tried watching but I can’t stand how utterly incompetent the dude is at the game.

yeah he skipped the cutscenes i believe

Did he use progression carryover?

nope. in fact he didnt even know it existed

The most impressive thing for me about Hitman 3 is that it hasn’t been delayed once since the announcement.
Random toughs of the day.

Weapon customization was only in BM, and having a briefcase was in Contracts (albeit only for the W2000 by default)

If I’m reading that right it seems the deluxe edition costs about the equivalent of 85 dollars…which is more than the 80 dollars which is the regular price in north america. So it does seem a bit much, yeah. Though I am sure the game will be on sale a few months after launch and with it the deluxe edition upgrade so you could buy the regular edition now and upgrade when on sale.

I was lucky I saw the preorder for the digital deluxe was on sale on PlayStation Network pre-release for 10% off so I got it for $72 which seems fair.

I think the way 47 takes cover is slightly different. Absolution style?

Interesting look at the new UI. Is it more red now, or is it still the same shade of pink as it was from Hitman 2? To be honest, I actually can’t tell, I even booted up the stream and I struggle to tell. I like the red and black look overall. I also like how in the menus, the options are now all transparent, with only the one you’ve selected being a hard red. Makes a difference from the solid white on Hitman 2’s menu, lets the backgrounds shine more.

Minor nitpick, but I notice they still have “game modes” as a menu option, despite the fact that since Ghost Mode is gone, the only option under that menu is Sniper Assassin now. Thought they would of altered it just to say Sniper Assassin and avoid the pointless menu of having to click SA.
