Hitman 3 DLC in the Works

But they also did three sniper assassin maps on top. If they cut that, Im sure there would be more content and elusives again while still having a bonus location.

Maybe i’m a “casual” here but i like bonus missions for the aesthetics and the feeling of the map too, not only gameplay and how they use the map. Special Assignments tried to use the maps in different ways but they were so underwhelming because they had just the same feeling that the main mission.

There’s only one version of the Hitman 1 Access Pass, so even people who only have the standard edition of H1 get upgraded to the GOTY version (with Patient Zero and all of the Bonus Missions) within Hitman 3.

So you’re probably not doing anything illegal.

So I just acquired it by waiting. COOL !

They should be in a better financial situation now though, this opens up some more freedom for them to work both new maps and some minor content like escalations and ‘side-missions’.

Why not just make a new game at that point?

Don’t other agents use disguises? I thought that Berlin implied that they do.

I would say there’s a different between

  1. Infiltrating a place already in an appropriate disguise

  2. Walking into a building while wearing a suit, slapping a man from behind with a fish, taking HIS clothes and shoving him in a cupboard

Think 47 is slightly unique in that sense

Also in the training mission Diana does comment on how unusual 47’s disguise habits are. So we at least know it’s uncommon

She was impressed when he did it during the training level and he never stopped chasing that high lol

I think people underestimate how much work the whole new maps take to make. With a big Bond game in the works, Hitman 3 being billed as the end, it not having a season pass and their comments about the DLC being remixes, I am definitely not expecting new maps. Would love to be proven wrong though.

I think a Patient Zero style bonus with a “complete edition” makes the most sense.

Monkey see monkey do.

A House Built On Sand is lowkey one of the best missions in 2016 and we need a night version of like Santa Fortuna or something.

I generally don’t like The Icon or Landslide (or special assignments) but I think IOI has recently learnt to make 1 target missions more fun and less easy to cheese.

New York has the vault, Dartmoor has the safe. I’m sure if IOI made Landslide now in 2021 it’d have a secondary objective that keeps you from just finishing in 30 seconds.

I dunno, I’m kindof fine with Landslide just having 1 target. I mean, OK, he is pretty easy to kill, there is a very easy SA/SO way if you lure him to the graveyard. But honestly I like having some smaller missions in small locations. Helps balance out some levels that can take a while, even if you do know the ins and outs, like Santa Fortuna and Mumbai.

Talking about having stuff, I’ve found this meme(originally by @Urben I guess) in the old forum recently. What @badeaguard has:

To me stuff like Landslide having one easy target isn’t a big deal, because the point of the game is to explore possibilities and unlock challenges. There’s plenty of that in Landslide.

A DLC I’d love to see, but which I don’t think will happen because people would say that they’re being asked to pay for something that should already be there, is just more/expanded assassinations / mission storys within the current levels, and expanded maps (for instance making the above ground part of Chongqing larger, or adding the outside area of Paris to the map).

Man… IO really do deserve better fans. Guys, developing content costs money. If you want that content, it is only fair that you pay for it. IO is not some mega-company, if you are a fan of Hitman you should feel two things: 1. Stoked that there will be new content, and 2. Pride to the fact that you are actually contributing to a company that spends hours making exciting content for us.

If it is free, there’ll be minor changes to a single map. If you pay, we get something that is essentially new.

We want essentially new, right? So it is only fair that we pay something to make that happen.

Exactly, like when in H2 we got a whole Halloween makeover for a map which was paid, and for free we got the Special Assignments which changed almost nothing

… wait a minute
