No way they’re utilizing the rain mechanic just for one level… Just saying
Well… it’s similar with Haven Island mechanics where it transitions from sunny to stormy and yet that system wasn’t reused in Hitman 3.
I do hope they both get reused though.
Let’s imagine a map that starts during evening and transitions into night with lights on streets turning on with entire vibe of location changing. That would be awesome.
True. I prefer proper fixed street crowded Chongqing before new maps
I disappointing till now almost 1 year from the orginal launch:sleepy:
I’m portuguese so I would love a map in Portugal… Maybe inspired by Sapienza, maybe an airport map, doesn’t really matter. Could be in Lisbon, Oporto, Azores or Madeira.
Other cool locations I would like to see: Spain, Greece, Albania, a scadinavian country (hopefully Denmark for obvious reasons), an African country (we only have Morroco. Egypt, Nigeria, Madagascar… There are a lot of countries to pick from.), Brazil, Canada, Mexico, some country in Central America (Guatemala, El Salvador, Cuba, Nicaragua, Jamaica…), Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia… Ok I will stop. As long as we don’t get another USA map or a location that we’ve already visited, I’m happy.
Edit: I forgot Khandanyang. And Ukraine. That would be nice to see too.
Brazil , Las Vegas , Russia
I would like to see but Brazil look kind of Colombia i think . South africa can be nice and Las vegas inspired Hitman blood money but better
Coincidently, I’m one of the few who hates the idea of an airport map.
If they do a Rainy Mumbai Bonus Mission, I can die in Peace. (Many other Locations like WC would be great too, but Mumbai would be my favorite. Especially the Roof of the Train Station during a Grey and Rainy Afternoon would be sooo good.
I like this idea, so as an NPC Model Expert I have to say that it may be too much work. Since there are only a total of Two Male and One Female African NPCs Heads in the Game and seeing the pretty low amount of New Asian Faces IO made for Chongqing, I’m not too confident. (They could use Textures and recolor Faces of course, but still.)
This. One of the Main Reasons why Mumbai is so great in my opnion is that it feels so Alive, but unlike Marrakesh, it feels alot more focused. (Night Marrakesh is better, so in this case it’s a bit too full for Nighttime in my opnion.)
Unrelated to what I quoted, what I would love would be a Mission similair to the Murder of Crows from BM. Meaning different Bars, Flats and other Buildings to enter all while some Event is going on, on the Streets.
There’s the possibility that the rain mechanic could come back for Project 007 though, but I hope rain or snow show up in H3 still
I entertained the idea a little bit, but then airport (despite all the hype) just didn’t seem like anything special to me either.
I’m against the idea on ethical grounds after the infamous No Russian mission, so from a IRL perspective, I could see why IOI wouldn’t go there.
But like many others, I’m so starved for a new map that I’d take anything at this point. From a technical perspective…I think an airport could make a great level.
Brazil has many big cities, so it could work as a contrast to Santa Fortuna. A mission set a night in a busy street near a beach could be doable.
To avoid doing favelas, you know.

We already had so many city maps in Hitman that I would rather not have another one. Same reason I don’t want another mansion or hotel. Give me some new places we’ve never been before. Like the often-mentioned airport.
Agent 47 infiltrates Abstergo facility at Ubisoft Montreal, and kills Desmond Miles in the Animus to prevent the progression of the now stale Assassin’s Creed franchise beyond Assassin’s Creed II, especially, Assassin’s Creed Unity which was extra buggy at launch…
I never got that really, they made this for the last map in Hitman 2 and it was awesome, and when I saw rain in chongching, in the trailers, I was so set on it being also a transition. From sunset clear sky to night time rainstorm or something.
There has to be one more snowy map. By now they are surely in on the joke of having all this arctic gear and not really anywhere to put it to proper use.
I take the recent unlock of the polar survival suit as a hint.
So a ski resort please.
It is maybe a political statement. Global warming reduces the places with snow to the point that you cannot even sell fitting gear anymore and it is gifted in the most obscure occasions.
Killed some guy? Hey how about this winter jacket instead of proper payment?
That was of course my second thought.
Khandanyang, recreate St. Petersburg, or a hockey stadium in Canada. All 3 can have lots of snow/ice you guys are asking for. But that’s a lot of winter content if we’re getting holiday hoarders and Hokkaido snow festival soon.
Yeah, avoiding the favelas there are plenty of alternative settings in Brazil.
“Welcome to Brazil, 47”
Just a quick mockup
nice, kind of santa fortuna but better view
I’d like to visit the big cities in South America, they rarely get attention in media; Buenos Ares, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Lima, specifically.
