Hi, does anyone have the Disguise as NPC mod for Hitman 3? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
It doesn’t work anymore. One of the game updates broke it a while back.

Those would be older versions of the game. (Or they are done a different way like modding the game’s files instead)

I’m trying to add Ljudmila Vetrova’s outfit v0’s glasses (or head) to her v1’s body. Will this work with this method? How do I know what hex is what body part? Complete modding and hex editor beginner here.
No. This was used to just swap out one .PRIM for another.
What you want to do is ADD another part to the outfit.
To do this, use RPKG Tool to export both of Vetrova’s outfits as Quick Entity scripts.
Then use Quick Entity Editor to add the glasses from v0 to v1 of the outfit.

Here’s a vid of me adding a body part (gloves) from one outfit to another.
(Although, I mistakingly put a HITMAN 2/3 mesh on a HITMAN 1 outfit, which doesn’t work properly because they have different armatures. 
)
I first create a new entity, transfer over the code for the gloves, add the new hash to the base of the outfit under m_aBodyParts. Additionally, I also created and transferred over the material override.
(Tip: In Quick Entity Editor to save .JSON edits always make sure to click another entity on the left panel.)
You can either create a patch or save the script for use with Simple Mod Framework. Or convert back to .TEMP/TBLU with RPKG Tool (Not sure it can?) or Quick Entity. Either one should be patched to the same chunk they came from.

I got stuck at a point where after I used QuickEnitity tool.
I converted QuickEntitity JSON to TEMP/TBLU after which I got the four TBLU, META and TEMP files.
BUT, they all still have the JSON file extension attached to them. Obviously I assume I can’t just remove the .json file extension from their names to make it work. How do I proceed?
EDIT1: Theres a utility in RPKG which allows me to convert .meta.json files to .meta (hash meta) but no option for .temp.json to .temp. Stuck again.
Hi I’m sorry if I’m just stupid but I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. When I run .bat and it deletes the chunk0 folders…there isn’t anything left in them to be renamed? Am I renaming the folder?
I don’t believe you have Quick Entity installed correctly.
(I’ve had this installed on my computer for so long, I just assumed the install instructions were part of the latest download. Although, from what I can see, I don’t think they are. They are on the older 1.0 entries, though.)
It also requires:
ResourceTool (Download below), rpkg-cli and hash_list.txt (from the RPKG Tool) be put into the QuickEntity folder.
(I also put the “Resource” .dlls into the folder as well, but don’t think it’s necessary? 
)

Make sure to follow all the directions correctly.
If all you are doing is swapping an outfit in chunk0 with another outfit in chunk0, all that is needed is to extract the .TEMP and rename the .temp and .temp.meta. No need for depends extraction.
The automatic script has a setting to do this automatically by setting “FromChunk0=y” .
If you are following the manual instructions at 2c, and the source outfit is from a higher chunk number, then the .TEMP, .TBLU, and their .metas will be in the chunk[number] folder they came from.

yes that’s what i was referring to. i’d tried to first method and it didnt work but i just checked my folder and evidently i missed putting everything rpkg related into my working folder and accdentally only put the rpkh-cli.exe which is why it wasn’t doing anything. i tried it again and it worked perfectly! thank you for the reply and youre tutorial! much appreciated!
