Yes, so long as the original map already has Freelancer, it’s just a matter of re/moving all the stuff that’s in the blocked off areas (i.e. Data Facility)
Can even be done on maps that don’t have freelancer at all (Hawke’s Bay etc) but is a lot harder as you’d need to put in every single thing yourself from scratch
We’ll see if anyone can think up a way to make vanilla server version have random variants (I have no clue), but assuming they can’t I will definitely be using Peacock as my default Freelancer experience. As why would I want to visit the exact same map version, at the exact same time of day every single contract
Of course if IO actually did this themselves between now and Australia Day then I wouldn’t need to
Installed Simple Mod Framework , added mod’s .zip and applied/ activated Mods, says it installed successfully. i look in-game and no extra suits are there at all.
[EDIT] The Nexus .zip is incompatible with the Simple Mod Framework 2, i later found a RPKG release of just the Splinter Cell Suit, Confirmed working: Tactical Operations Suit (mediafire.com)
Deniable Ops style Splinter Cell Suit with iconic 3-dot goggles, working with Simple Mod Framework 2, Confirmed working with download link.
Is there a Mod that allows Non-Target Kills, But can still allow Silent Assassin Rating?
I am thinking of playing with Gar0npex’s Tactical Operations Suit, and a mod that allows, for eg.bodyguard kills, so it is not so strict on killing only target;
Rather, given the Govt Operative Splinter Cell style Suit, No Disguises, But Change the text “Silent Asssassin” to something else in the rating and allow Non-Target Kills (would be amazing if the mod could even detect relation or relevance to the target the killed non-Target is.was.)
As a reason behind this, Splinter Cell fans would love an overhaul of HITMAN Interface, possibly music, and rating system restrictions like Non-Targets to be tweaked into Splinter Cell theme.
I’m planning an Update to Mendoza Reswapped soon, to give my NPC Models fitting Images in Contracts Mode. Unfortunatly it is not yet possible to create Images like IO’s, so I’m doing something different. For this I’m unsure if I should go with the closest thing to IO’s Contract Mode NPCs Images or give my Models Images like they would be Main Targets. Before I continue to explain myself though, I think it’s better to just show you the difference:
I think main mission mode images are a good close to the the NPC that you can see the small details and (weirdly) sorta immerse yourself, i guess. Idk if that’s the right word. But it just looks better and more clean IMO ofc.
Whatever one you end up going with will look cool.
Hey, I love your works on this, these faces look great! But I was wondering if you were considering making them Simple Mod Framework accessible, because when I upload these in my runtime folder I need to update packagedefinition file, which messes all previously updated files.
