If IO was really against modding we’d already be aware, there is currently nothing about it but we’re still being quite cautious so we don’t get of their bad side, which is a normal thing to do

Well there’s really no legal ground whatsoever in there. They can merely ban you from their online service, but they don’t have any legal grounds to sue for black box reverse engineering.

Right, though potential modders who plan to do these things might get discouraged by this.

Just as their Profile Deletion site says that this service is not meant to be used to reset game progress. It shall only used because of valid reasons, while the GDPR clearly says the user does not have to justify their intention for the deletion of personal data.

hey, modders, just a question. I don’t entirely understand how modding works in H3, or how the RPKG tool works, however I was wondering if the recent updates allowed for the headless Lucas Grey to be fixed? I appreciate the work you’re all doing, it’s awesome!

Nexus mods banned the service I used to access an uncensored internet so I can no longer maintain the offline scoring mod there.

The mod now moved to itch.io, which so far seems to be a superior platform in every aspect except for popularity:
HITMAN 3 Offline Scoring Mod by onionsquid

The page contains the brand new version 1.4 of the mod, which fixes two bugs related to camera recordings, tracks how often the game was loaded and contains some changes to make badges easier to use for other modders.
If somebody could publish this info on Nexus, that would be great!

I encourage all other moders to give itch a shot as well. That way users that are locked out of nexus stupid account system can still enjoy your work.

is there a mod that a mod that replaces the futo suit with the Solstice Suit?
also, is there any way to add the watch back on to the tacktleneck? its a minute detail but I think it improves the outfit tenfold

I’ll download it and can post the update. Not sure how you would like me to go about this I do know that you can allow others to upload files to your post but don’t really see how that is possible without being able to access the website.

Since we are on the subject of your mod, I’d like to ask a couple of questions since I am using it in scoring with the mod I am currently cobbling together. All Targets at Once.

Maybe this isn’t possible with Json and if so maybe this is beyond the scope of your mod. Like I said I am very new to this.
Currently you have to paste a big portion of your mod into what ever level you are making compatable with it for it to work.

Is there anyway that you could just tell the code to like load in code from another json file.

does this make any sense?

Also is it possible to create a leaderboard with this mod. It would be nice to track progress on any said map. I only ever used the online leaderboards to look at my own standing.

i was wondering if anybody knew how to do a mod that gave access to the butcher outfit/ items? I know they’re somewhere in the files, it’s just I’m not much of a modder myself haha, so idk what I’m doing

Thanks for the person that linked the new location on nexus, that was along the lines I intended. I will try to log in occasionally and if the ban should end or be paused I will do a more official update. There is no need to post individual files to nexus, as itch permits direct downloads without nagging.

There is $include, but I think it only works for menu json. Have not tested it, though. Maybe there is a way to use it for missions as well.

I think the clean solution would be to go through a modding framework, along the lines of the scripts I wrote for me to maintain the mod. That would also permit people to easily configure their scoring model to individual taste and fix many potential compatibility problems with other mods. But to get my scripts into a state that normal users can use would need a lot of time, can’t afford that right now.

If anyone knows how to turn the knife backwards I’d love to learn it. I swapped 00FEA47AB930892C.TEMP with 00BDE8A77BB739E2.TEMP and that’s all I got lol.

Is the disguise NPC mod still working? I found a link up here but it’s not working ingame at all. Placed the two files in the retail folder but no luck. Do I have to do extra steps to activate it? Could anyone link me the discord server here by chance, as well? Thanks :slight_smile:
