Don’t worry Mini, as soon as we get the map me or someone else will mod Grey as an active NPC wandering around :sunglasses:

The Simple Mod Framework will do all of that for you, and supports all mods. It’s much easier.

Great work!

Due to an issue in the behavior of IO’s box reflection cache, lighting in several levels with the Classic Pack selected will break if another level is loaded beforehand.

So if I load a Paris mission after Sapienza there are visual issues, and I need to reboot the game to not have them?

Correct. Yes it is very unfortunate. However this issue is not exclusive to this mod. This bug also affects IO’s own levels (all examples have unmodded lighting):

In the case specifically of the Classic Pack, it is because HITMAN 2016 did not have a boxreflectioncache entity, did not exist at that time or at least implemented in that way. So when removing it the lighting is much more accurate to 2016 but it breaks when loading after another level.

The Vanilla+ pack is unaffected however as it contains the boxreflectioncache entities.

Oh that is what the Hokkaido morgue was about! Saw that once myself.

I would have liked the Patient Zero Hokkaido in the original Hokkaido lighting. I guess I’d have to use the other Time Of Day Changes mod for that, do they work well together?

Yes. Hopefully IO can fix it or the community can find some better workaround.

I know that The Time Of Day mod changes the inverse I think, bringing the PZ lighting to Situs Inversus. I’m not sure if he would be interested in doing that as well, you should ask him.

You can have both mods installed, though LU has been designed to give the Time Of Day Changes mod preference and as such will take priority and overwrite LU.

I am working on a solution for that, perhaps a companion mod that will also work but for now they should be “compatible” in the sense that nothing should crash.

I actually gave that a shot, plus The Vector but for some reason it crashed trying to do it that way. Not impossible, just not as easy as it was for me to bring PZ to normal versions

This mod looks absolutely amazing especially the classic pack. I really loved the way Paris looked when it first released with its warm colours and blue hues. Though I don’t think the new lighting looks bad at all,apart from the excessive use of bloom of course.

Alright, because @Urben holds a special place in my heart, I made Situs Inversus lighting on PZ work


Part of the ToD changes means the interior is less purple

It will be part of ToD Mod 1.2, which will be released *SoonTM
In theory should be compatible with LU 2.0 so Sieni’s Situs Inversus lighting is applied to PZ

I have a question for you all. With the new freelancer mode, how difficult do you think it would be for ioi to make time of day changes?

I recall in a video a while back they mentioned that it’s a lot of work.
