I thought I should say my disappointment about this situation isn’t so much because IO are making us wait a little longer in some countries to play the game - but the lack of communication surrounding it.
It was only in the last week that the PS4 timer changed, I just wish that after the decision was made (for whatever reason) IO had communicated the delayed release timings out - whether it was through Twitter, a blog post or whatever - since everyone on consoles had the expectation of it being a rolling midnight release. The fact we’ve had to figure it out for ourselves just kinda blows considering how great they usually are at making sure correct expectations are set.
We still have three(I guess?) workdays, so there is still time.
They didn’t even give us the information they promised(progress carry-over), so there are still things to come, even if the release is less than a week left.
There are large general stores that sell games that are open pretty much around the clock in most countries where you can go shopping if you wear a mask or at a bare minimum open very early in the morning.
The reason we “can’t have nice things” here is because the assholes in my city act like Patient Zero. They just willy-nilly walk by people, no mask and spread the damn infection.
I gotta go to the store today and I feel like Ripley hearing Newt tell her “They mostly come out at night.”
