HITMAN 3: Seven Deadly Sins (NEW DLC)

Sick as in cool or sick as in it looks heinous? I mean, I think it looks awful but related to the works of making a complex texture, it’s actually pretty cool. Can’t wait to see the detailing up-close.

sick as in “it’s very detailed and unlike any other suit we have”

Of course we would be giggling like children if we could wack Targets with this.

Not really my thing… I won’t be buying for now. I would’ve payed 30 dollars for dual silverballers though.

Will we get seasonal events from HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 permanently ?

It’s kinda ironic how warner bros games (one of the greediest publishers) publishing hitman 2 got us the bank and haven island and IOI self publishing only got us new escalations that we have to pay extra for.

Definitely not paying for this DLC unless they add it to the already overpriced deluxe edition.

EDIT: I know I’m saying something controversial here, but I think IO has lost their passion after hitman 2 and are just doing it for the sake of it.

The “Deluxe Edition” terminology always made me uneasy. If it had been a H2 style “Gold Edition” including all future content, I would have purchased it immediately. However, “Deluxe Edition” does not have the same connotation of being the ultimate version of Hitman 3. That’s why I bought the standard edition.

Deluxe owners who want this new content for free are mistaken. They did not buy a “Gold” version of Hitman 3. They do not have a “season pass” for all future content. The marketing was very clear about what would be included in the Deluxe Edition. Nonetheless, I do sympathize with them.

It seems clear that the post-launch strategy for H3 marks a shift from H1 and H2. They have replaced ‘Full Experiences’ and ‘Gold Editions’ with the far more limited ‘Deluxe’ version. Whilst it delivers what is promised, it doesn’t promise very much. Meanwhile, an unknown number of future DLC packs are yet to be released. The first of these, Seven Deadly Sins, already looks like it may be rather overpriced.

For me, all of this leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.

As someone who has a whole lot of untouched escalations sitting on Hitman 3, this announcement is met with the same shrugging of shoulders that the Deluxe edition was met with.

I know escalations have their fans, but I’m simply not one of them. They’re fine for what they are, and I’m sure at some point I’ll do the ones already in the base game (purely for the unlocks and the little tick we get for completing them), but if this is what Hitman 3 DLC is going to consist of then I won’t be purchasing.

Even after thing improved after launch, the remnants of uneasy feelings from it remain and it seems they will intensify for some time.

I still wish they would bring back the Sarajevo Six missions and make it available to Xbox, PC and Switch players, but this is sounding fantastic.

So we pay 30 bucks and we get to dress like a wall fixture at a Trump Hotel? Because that suit is hideous as it is tacky.

It is meant to be both. Do you really think that you are gonna hate all 7 packs?

It looks like IO is going to squeeze every last money drop of the WOA trilogy. Anyway, it’s not WOA anymore. Welcome to the World of Vices.

HITMAN : Make the World your deadly sin :money_mouth_face:

I mean all seven aren’t even out yet so I can’t judge as a whole but if this is just the first one? I don’t think it will be worth it. I don’t play escalations, I am sick of reskinned weapons and I think the suit is ugly so already they have lost me on the first sin.

Irony here is I am in complete despair, the Eight Deadly Sin. (Orthodox counts it if you are wondering)

On the plus side, we might see some more creative Hakan-related photoshops in the Ultimate Hitman Memes thread as a result of this.

I completely understand your position. I know that nothing is for everyone. I HOPE that the rest of the packs at least get you excited.

Also missed opportunity to make a alternative suit for Dawood

Happy to see that the final HITMAN game gets new and exciting content along the way

Let’s hope that everything will be fixed and polished by the end for the complete experience :+1:

– HITMAN 3’s live content will be released via Seasons of Sin
– A season can last between 4-6 weeks and each season is focused on a different sin

Instead of Monthly roadmap, IOI establishes a system of season. If we consider that a season lasts more or less 5 weeks, we get 7 * 5 = 35 weeks of contents. Starting from 1st April, we arrive around 30th November.
It means like H2, we’ll get a year of new contents for Hitman 3
