I’m getting this error, on PC. Failed to fetch profile information. Haven’t been able to play for 19 hours. Got kicked out while playing the final mission and have been unable to log on since.
EDIT: Followed the steps earlier in this thread and now I’m getting “Failed to fetch configuration from the Hitman server.”
@Travis_IOI I know this issue is being looked into on PlayStation, but it’s happening on PC too.

Description : Game crashes back to Epic Launcher after pressing Launch Hitman
Steps to reproduce: Load up Epic launcher. Press play on Hitman 3. Small Hitman 3 launcher loads. Press Launch Hitman 3. Starts to load but then screen goes black for a few seconds and then crashes back to the Epic Launcher. No error message.

I thought the connection to the Hitman server was often unstable, but I could play the game without any major problems.
But in the last 12 hours over(12 hours ago until now.), I had a “CONNECTION FAILED” problem.
I did carryover. I am a pc version user.
Steps to reproduce:
When the game starts, “Disconnected”.
Attempt to switch online after connecting to the game, “Cannot connect”.
I reinstalled the game but it was the same.
I delete AppData and reinstall HITMAN3, but it was the same.
I conducted a re-examination of the game at Epic Games Launcher, but it was the same.
********** NOW 48 Hours past.
Always CANNOT connect to hitman server.

The game has been working ok for the last 3 days and now its not starting anymore… I tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the Epic Games Launcher, changing drivers, reinstalling DirectX and the game just wont start anymore…
Quite annoying
hitman 2 is not released on epic games store. when it released you’ll get free access. (in 10 days)
I have the exact same problem but I did all of the updates and I’m still having the same problem
Copy pasting someone with modifications because I am having the exact same problem. They solved it by updating windows and direct x, but I did both and it is still doing the same thing where it loads a black screen and then crashes.

Description : When I click “Play” on the launcher, the game does not start. When I attempt to run the benchmarking tool, the benchmarking tool will not start.

Longer Description : When I click “Play” on the Hitman 3 launcher, Hitman3.exe will appear in the task manager, it’s memory usage will start increasing, then it will disappear from the task manager and the Epic Games Launcher reopens.
My basic system information is the following:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel ® Core ™ i7-4700HQ @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
Memory: 465 GB - 299 GB used and 165 GB free
Available OS Memory: installed 16 GB RAM / OS build 19042.746
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: INTEL ® HD GRAPHICS 4600
Below is how the other person who posted solved that problem but it did not work for me
(((( [SOLVED] After updating Windows 10 to a newer version, I no longer have the issue. (It only took a few days of intense frustration to figure this out)
What didn’t work: I had tried going into Settings > Update & Security and checking for updates. Widows reported that I was up to date. However, I was only on Windows 10 version 1703. Being on this older version seems to have prevented some games that use Directx 12 from launching.
What did work: I went to Download Windows 10 and updated to Windows 10 version 20H2.
You can view which version of Windows you have installed by going to Settings > System > About and looking for “Version”. I hope others are having the same problem because it was an easy fix compared to how long it took to find it. ))))
Please help I really want to play and I feel like I’ve tried everything! Thank you!
I know this has been mentioned in this thread already, but doing the settings > storage > save data method worked for me on PS4. Hope those who are still struggling with this can get on soon.

Description: every time I start up the game after I turned it off once, it keeps not being able to fetch online resources
Steps to reproduce: trying to start up the game again and retry to connect to servers

Pretty much same issues on PC as seen above… can’t log into the game since yesterday, only able to play the offline version and I have no access to the Level of Hitman 2, but my progress on these levels carried over.

Well, I’m on PS4 Pro, I’ve never been able to connect since the 20th.
I just deleted my saved data and reloaded the game, and still failed to fetch online resources. (Attempted twice).
While I don’t fully mind being in offline mode, since I’ve never connected, I have bare bones inventory/starting options for each mission… making it a bummer. (Day 5).
I’ve been trying all morning and game will not connect to server
