Either way, he’s a fan. It’s my head canon now. Thanks to you, it’s stuck in my head forever; 47’s three favorite things: role play, gardening and Cassandra Snow.
John Wick was retired. That supports my last point. In addition to that, the entire criminal underworld, and elements of the police, are aware of him; he’s not going for anonymity among his enemies.
47 is trying to remain anonymous except with the ICA, and if the house is his, he likely acquired it after Providence fell, when he’s no longer active, like John Wick was.
Good point again, I think youre right. Maybe we do get to see him retired, and he comes back for more. Im just very on the idea of this being his hideout. I dont want to brag about size, but it looks Hawkes Bay-sized, which would be perfect for a hideout, and less ideal for a mission.
I hope he will be a target in 2022
And I want the possibility to wear hamburger disguise
If these people want to see The Photographer so bad they can play Life is Strange. Mark Jefferson is most likely what IO was going to do with the character anyway.
A Silver Tongue let’s you poison a junk water salesman with a sample of his own water, drop a car on him while he’s trying to pitch a deal to you, or clear out the back area of witnesses and blow him up with a car bomb next to his swanky ride. The other Special Assignments don’t let you do that.
I doubt he´s a fan, I think it was just diligence in preparing for the mission
The problem I have with a (potential) safehouse in WOA is that it cannot function in an “ultimate” way as it did in SA/CON/BM, as there is not a given definitive amount of weapons. Since they´re always adding new unlocks, the storage area cannot at this point be designed to accommodate all of them and would only contain a certain selected amount (unless of course IO know exactly what they will add as unlocks in the upcoming year and don´t change that).
And the same applies to suits. If there was a wardrobe, there would have to be only a selected amount of them. The only way around it is if they would implement a selection menu like in, say, the AC games. In which case it wouldn´t really work the way you´re hoping of course.
Not to mention you can annihilate him with a junk water MIRV, which no other mission lets you do
A what?
20 characters
A MIRV (multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle). You know, a ballistic missile with multiple warheads. Essentially what the Atlantide Space Program challenge/easter egg is, although the missile and warheads are substituted by bottles
…
What. The. Hell?
Is this real? How do I see this?
Things like these are why I’m more willing to defend the Special Assignments. If A Silver Tongue was an Elusive Target, they wouldn’t have bothered putting in an easter egg like this. If Embrace of the Serpent was an ET, most players would be very mad due to how hard it is to figure out and accomplish Silent Assassin in one run. If Illusions of Grandeur was an ET, it would’ve been much harder to get the fantastic Imperial Classic with Gloves.
Or if they are willing to do a little extra work to rearrange the spots on the wall once the weapon list is completed.
Sounds possible, I mean could be in the pipeline but not yet
I just think we are going to have a safehouse for the same reason Mass Effect ended up giving Shepard an apartment in the Citadel DLC, and the Witcher 3 gave a vineyard to Gerald.
It’s the best way to close a story, by giving the character a place of his own, a place where you know what, everything will be alright. Because he’s earned some rest now.
All of that because I suspect, just a little, that the Hitman team works with and for a passion and love towards the serie and the characters some times.
(wouldn’t mind some unlock and challenges though)
Or it could serve as an alternative hub / selection menu.
The menus were one of the thing that was sometimes pointed at for being outdated in front of the complexity, diversity and amount of the content released, so that could arrive in addition to a general menu rework.
Especially if IOI starts to work with the three games as they were one in year 2, a more streamlined menuing might be needed.
At least I hope it would be possible to launch missions from there, maybe in a room with a map or something like that…
And who knows, with the amount of demands to change the menu music theme, we might also have a jukebox function.
I second this! A pet rabbit and/or a plushie bunny somewhere
In comparison with the “Forest Mansion”, Wick’s house is set up in a minimalistic, almost modest fashion.
Hope I’m wrong, but a safehouse map is a pointless diversion of resources placating the nostalgia simps here.
Would you rather a map or a shooting gallery?
The hideout in SA had thematic propose, the church/ 47’s purpose / meaning/ opening story arc prompt and finally the end battle with the weapons collected. If this is really a safe house It’s just some cool design with no gameplay depth.
A sole shooting range map is not comparable to a proper map regarding used resources.
