HITMAN 3 Year 2 August Roadmap

Well, I guess humor is subjective. The fact that they are complaints is exactly why I find it so funny.

That applies to literally any of the joke or “themed” outfits. You are making baffling distinctions here where there are very few. Ninja’s are not highly visible usually, and it’s just weird seeing Santa, Pirates or a fecking flamingo in the middle of Marrakesh, which gives off the same effect of being funny to look at while 47 is clearly trying to remain professional (even as others mock him for wearing those outfits). And the clown suit has gloves because clowns usually wear gloves.

And the Ninja suit, when the bloom works, looks genuinely cool. 47 still looks serious and gets the same message across of “assassin in stupid clothes in an otherwise serious puzzle game” as any of the other themed suits. It looks silly so people will wear them, not necessarily out of nostalgia.

Yes because it’s been around for longer? Lots of other suits are widespread too, just this one has nostalgia attached to it so older players will appreciate the reference more.

I don’t think it’s intentional; just an IOI bug that wasn’t thought through.

Honestly to wrap up a essay in a sentence does it matter what ioi do eity suits? If you think about it were getting suits and items and if they dont fit yor style here is a revolutionary tip Dont use them its a simple as that. Simple solutions next we will be arguing about whether the sun came up this morning  i would personally like more serious suits but its ioi soooo can’t expect good stuff can you? Just look at 7ds.

And unlike when commenting on weapon balance, this is actually a viable response.

People like silly outfits, I like silly outfits too. I wear them on occasion if they look cool or are made well. The Futo suit is among my favorite suits for this reason.

Ye most items and suits that have came out in the past year or so have been shit imo im a stealthy assassin leaving no trace. So when the guards see a fucking clown rock up to a paris Fashion show you can’t blame me for not liking them. Every now and then (i think we all do thh) i shall use the joke suits and stuff for shits and giggles

I think most people’s issues with outfits like these that we’ve been getting, is that we’ve only been getting these themed suits for a long time, and many people just want to earn some normal-looking suits or outfits. Something that doesn’t stand out too much or is more in line with most of 47’s wardrobe and varied locations.

The last outfit we’ve gotten that I’d say wasn’t themed around a specific colour scheme or environment was the Summer Sightseeing Suit from Dartmoor Garden Show a year ago.
That’s a casual outfit that can fit in many different locations, whereas most other suits since then have been a bit more cosplay-like, I guess, or featured some very unique texturing that is an acquired taste.

To me, and you know my feelings on suits, the biggest problem with 47’s wardrobe is the sameness of it all. There is just only so much variety you can really put on a suit and tie combination. You can change the color of the jacket and pants, shirt, or tie. Tuxedos are the same deal. There’s just not that much variety (by design - suits are supposed to all pretty much look the same, that’s the point). Whether 47 is wearing a black suit with a red tie or a blue suit with a black tie or a white suit with a green tie, it’s still just a suit and tie. I’m sure some people actually care about the differences between the signature suit and the terminus suit but to many people, they’re the same dang thing. “Just reskins”, as it were.

Almost anything else has been met with criticism from one group or another. You either get “that suit is disgusting/ugly/garish/bad” or “my 47 would ONLY wear a suit so anything else is rubbish” or “that is just too silly for the serious character I play as”.

Fair point there my fellow dinosaurs descendent. I totally forgot that iou dont like making suits that i don’t know might cater towards all players. Good point being totally serious… Totally have a straight face whilst writing this.
Being serious for a moment i hate frivolous attires personally and want some more serious professional assassination outfits but if ioi keeps their track record like how it is we aint gonna get any more “good” suits

Wish we could stick to times where 47 only wore his signature suit with gloves and nothing else EXCEPT for when the location begged for an alternative (e.g. a snowstorm or desert map). Dressing up as a letloose nut might be fun but if IO never went off the rails we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now.

Hard pass for me, anyway.

Always a viable response, Drib.

You would know better, my man.

Sorry, nothing personal. Too good of an opportunity to pass

Not for everyone. What I was trying to prove is that for some people the Clown suit doesn’t necessarily belong to the same category of “bad joke outfits”, for multitude of reasons. It’s not about what suit makes a person laugh harder anyway…

Yep. People criticize including such outfits in the games, but never ask them to be removed - for an obvious reason

Fair.

People like the humor, what can I say? I will admit the ruby rude tracksuit just looks garish, but I’m not exactly one for tracksuits to begin with, so my view is already tainted.
