Branded a traitor and hunted by the Agency he once served, Agent 47 returns to iOS and Android this autumn in Hitman: Absolution.
Building on the success of 2023’s Blood Money — Reprisal, Absolution is the compelling next installment, shining a spotlight on Agent 47’s character and revealing that he is more than just a number.
Stealth meets modernised combat to make ‘going loud’ as satisfying as keeping to the shadows — turning each of Absolution’s 20 missions into an assassin’s playground. Sleek touch controls offer 47’s trademark precision, and, for the full AAA experience on the go, gamepad and keyboard and mouse are fully supported.
Following the mobile release, Hitman: Absolution will arrive on Nintendo Switch in late 2025, with native Switch 2 support to follow in 2026. More details on the Switch versions will be revealed later this year.
So, suit up, straighten your tie and prepare to step back into the highly polished shoes of Agent 47 — pre-order today from the App Store for $14.99 / £9.99 / €12,49 (regional prices may vary), or pre-register on Google Play.
Not true. I got the platinum I think in the first week if I remember correctly.
I think you are confusing it with the PS3. I also got the platinum in there too.
Can they just fix the disguise system and checkpoint system in Absolution before releasing it on literally every platform known to man? Absolution is difficult for all the wrong reasons.
Contracts mode is coming to the iOS and Android versions of Absolution on May 14th Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 will get them at a later date
Unlike WoA all contracts will be playable regardless of what platform you are playing on
There will be occasional featured contracts by either Feral Interactive themselves or the players the first FC batch will arrive on launch day being titled “Misfortune Favours the Bald”
What about the availability of Contracts mode on PC/Steam? Fans have been asking IOI for years to do something about it. At one point they even addressed it, saying they were ‘working on it,’ but throughout that entire decade, nothing happened.
Today I saw this announcement on Facebook and had to rub my eyes in disbelief. I love Hitman: Absolution, but to this day I’ve never managed to unlock all the weapons in Contracts mode. @IOI_Artjoms does that mean that is a possibility for reactivation of contracts mode in PC version?
Legacy Versions of absolution might have some legal red tape cause of Square.
since these are new versions it’s a bit different.
the Warner Bros release was just to release something at the bare minimum to supplement income cauce of IOI at the time post Squexit hence why online features weren’t implemented since they require additional server costs.
@IOI_Artjoms could you perhaps look into seeing if Feral Interactive could port over the enhanced Blood Money and Absolution to replace the ones we have?
