It would’ve been cool to have a campaign linking all these characters together in a series of missions, sadly they’re already dead now and The Brothers would need to be reworked because the ET isn’t very good gameplay-wise :weary:

I´m hoping this is the only reason why IO have decided not to release them (yet) and that they do intend to do so eventually down the line once they´re ok gameplay-wise (especially after featuring them in the data core deletion scene - leaving them unutilized would just be a trategy :weary:).

Indeed it would, though Obara and Ekwensi wouldn´t really work well without a rework as well since they get killed in the same location. That being said, all I want is to have them added as permanently playable content (as I do with all ETs) and then I can just play it as a series of my own accord

In the meantime, they could conceive a mini-campaign focused on eliminating the Pos and Al-Ghazalis (and maybe Hector Delgado). A final mission in Dubai with Jin Po meeting Salman and Omar would be a perfect opportunity to have one of his Kronstadt drones circling the bulding with the option of hacking it and sending a missile their way :smirk: (oh, and also adding that helicopter explosion kill that is so shamefully missing in OTotW :stuck_out_tongue: )

There are some really great ideas that could be done with some of the characters we could revisit, or finally get face to face with people we’ve only heard through dialogues or briefings

I don’t think this would be the best idea, since 1. HMF is a wild card 2. The Player-made Elusive Targets thread already exists, but:
Elusive Targets (ideas) by the community. Similar to Community-made FC (deadline, submissions, winners, etc.) but you instead give the codename for the ET in your mind, the location, the concept, and the setting (not elimination method obviously).

Is there any chance we can get a port of the Hitman HD Trilogy (originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3) for the Nintendo Switch? I think this would be awesome, playing SA, Contracts and Blood Money on the go.

just remembered this thread exists - been thinking about stuff.

being able to slip and fall from puddles and banana peels would be cool. we can already electrocute ourselves and set off proximity explosives. it makes sense that the same principle would be applied to other traps we set, like puddles and bananas.

being affected by emetic poison. i’m not talking about the usual “damage” red lines or black and white that display when 47 walks into emetic gas. maybe your screen would turn green and wobbly for 15 seconds, and 47 wouldn’t take damage from it, but he’d move a bit slower and would have to find a toilet as a timer ticks down. perhaps vomiting in public could be seen as suspicious in master difficulty  on the upside, this would make no one suspicious of you as you trespass.

Local accents. Some people may think this is a small and insignificant thing to complain about but it ruins the atmosphere for me. You know those two tutorial maps that are make believe? To be honest, that’s what HITMAN™ felt to me. No matter where Agent 47 goes, that surfer sounding guy is everywhere. The guards all sound the same.

I was thinking this earlier. I love playing Absolution in different languages. They recorded audio for the game in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Japanese.

I wish they would reuse the French guard voices in Absolution for the guards in the Showstopper mission. The Italian guard voices for World of Tomorrow and the Japanese guard voices in Situs Inversus.

Hitman WoA reuses some voice lines from Absolution so I think they’re allowed to do that. But people wouldn’t understand what the guards are saying (unless you understand the language) but I actually prefer it that way

H2016 had a Japanese voiceline DLC that was pretty neat, would work great if all NPCs in Hokkaido spoke like that, but then makes 47 speaking English kinda weird, especially when disguised

Some people on the other hand completely agree with you and have found the omnipresent American and British accents so annoying that they decided to make a mod to at least partially “fix” this

I mean it would be cool if the NPCs spoke the local language, but in a game that is so heavily based around eavesdropping on NPCs´conversations to find out info about targets and opportunities, it would probably be quite counterproductive. Although we do have subs for all the significant conversations, so… (then again, we would also miss out on the non-subbed chatter)

Totally agree with you on the accents though.

You’re so right. I was thinking about that. Sometimes the guards say dialogue that’s important for the player to know. But I so wish they would add accents. I’d even be willing to pay more to enjoy the levels listening to characters speak in their authentic accent. It probably won’t happen but I can dream  I would love to hear combat dialogue from the guards in Arabic in Morocco and Dubai :sob:

DLC called “The Five Fathers” where The Lee Hong Assassination, Say Hello to My Little Friend, Traditions of the Trade, Deadly Cargo and The Setup/Meet Your Brother are all remade to bring 47’s origins back into the light. I would love to see those levels with the current trilogy’s design. That, and these were the contracts that gave 47 his legendary status as a hitman.

…“Say Hello to My Little Friend” would need to be renamed, of course :stuck_out_tongue:

I just thought of the perfect name for the level, Scarface :stuck_out_tongue: !

Or “I Travelled to Colombia to kill one of my five fathers and all I got was this lousy barcode”

I would like them to include tracking of Play Styles, either as a checkoff list or how many times you have gotten certain playstyles. I think it would be fine to just list the ones you have gotten thus far at least once. It is fine if the ones that the players have not gotten don’t show up on the list.

Better guard AI. Namely in combat as right now the only advantage they have is numbers which can make combat a bit dull.

Perhaps have high-level guards take more damage with bullet-proof vests and can’t be knocked down quite as easily with knee-shot if alerted.

Maps have different arrangements in guards, for example Paris with some extra security in the down stairs guard room and in the attic but only with basic bullet-proof vests but if a firefight does break off the public exits are barred and a range of police go in that way.

Where as say the Island of Sgail a lot of guards in the high-security rooms are armoured head to toe with being able to with-stand headshots. Where depending on a fire-fight will go and support or lock down the target.

It will mix up combat and ensure that running can prove to be a better option as well as make assault-rifles, shotguns and the magnums to be a favourable item to take on missions.

  1. Further separation of weapon/gear categories:
    -put dartguns into separate category
-separate both melee and explosives into lethal and non-lethal
-maybe put fiber wires into it’s own category
  2. Favorites tab for outfits/weapons/gear.
  3. Multiple presets in planning screen (preferably 3).

I’d love it if aim assist locked on to the drones on Chongqing. Right now it’s a pain on console as somehow the drones travel faster than bullets so you have to aim where it will be going :slightly_frowning_face:

we should be able to use 47’s tie as a fiber wire. maybe removing it and using it as a melee would make it so that you lose your suit only rating since you technically removed part of your suit…but I think it’d be pretty neat, visually.
