That is a horrifically bad take. The live team is a significantly downsized one, but it’s bigger than the start of Hitman 3’s live support. It 100% makes sense Hitman is not their priority outside of a team of 10 or so people.
People think he’s dead, but he just has THE POWER OF INVISIBILITY HAHAHA
Nvm, I think my venting was going be a bit too over the line.
50% of who?
Developers need to step left and right for some time. To keep the creativity flowing and get experience on new stuff. That in the end could be useful when coming back to Hitman.
Afaik 007 will progress Glacier further. Maybe their other IP too. Why not wait with Hitman until the new stuff bring big enhancements to Hitman?
I kind of answered that with the post I deleted, but determined that I came off as too whiny and callous to their efforts, so we’ll just leave my answer to that in the wind.
We’re tremendously busy here. It’s only numbers!
(And none of them are backed by any sources other than a few peoples’ opinions :x )
(Personally I think Sony made IOI sign one of their sadly famous Faustian contracts to get them to make the Sarajevo Six exclusive to PS4, and the chances we have to see that content on other platforms are about close to the ones we have of seeing Bloodborne and the first Red Dead Redemption released on something that’s not a Playstation. Although Sony did release a few exclusives like Horizon or Days Gone on PC, so at least these chances are not equal to zero.)
While I personally would prefer resources used on something like a new map (whether it be a medium to large snow map, or one last Sniper Assassin map set in Khandanyang), the Sarajevo Six being brought to other platforms (including Hitman 3 on PS4/PS5) would be a cool addition - even just to “complete” the game.
I never got to play the Sarajevo Six as I’m on Xbox, so I did miss out. Granted, I looked up a playthrough of the Sarajevo Six and I know I’m not missing much, it’s just the Colorado and the Hokkaido Targets are the most interesting Targets in that Campaign in my opinion.
I am well aware of Contractual limitations that pretty much mean we’ll never see the Sarajevo Six again, but I’d still like to play it. A man can dream.
There was a small part of me that thought IOI’s continued relationship with Square Enix (Hitman 3 physical publishing, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows) could potentially lead to a renegotiation of Sarajevo 6.
That changed when Square Enix sold off Square Enix Montreal (Onoma) and most of their western studios.
That all said, if they were to re-release S6, it would surely still be PlayStation exclusive and might even motivate takedowns of the mods.
Just enjoy the memories or use S6 as an excuse to boot up an old copy of 2016 for a bit.
“27” Topper for the vegan birthday cake in Himmapan Hotel.
JC gets a closeup of that sweet vegan goo in front of his buds. They just stand and watch it all in their little party hats.
LOL.
Regardless of the reason why, the Sarajevo 6 will never be in Hitman 3/The WOA. Just like The Undying and the Wildcard ETs. It is what it is… and it ain’t what it ain’t.
I think you’re missing the word “officially”.
And the word “probably.” As has been pointed out, the chances are not zero.
Option 3 is most likely; Sony are not exactly known for being…courteous.
Remember the “Spiderman being locked to Marvels Avengers on PS5” debacle?
Ahh… everything exists on PC. I forgot.
Yeah… they’re zero for us, on consoles.
Not necessarily. Until they move on completely from this game and start the next, there’s always a chance they can come to new terms.

The Sarajevo Six
The Sarajevo Six Campaign makes a grand return on August 17. Priced at $4.99 USD across all platforms, you can embark on an extraordinary journey through six additional contracts that weave together a captivating side-story centered around former members of a paramilitary unit known as CICADA. As Agent 47, you will traverse the globe, relentlessly pursuing your targets to track down these individuals, dispersed across the vast World of Assassination.
Your destinations and targets:
- Paris, where Scott Sarno, also known as “The Director,” awaits.
- Sapienza, where you will encounter “The Enforcer.”
- Marrakesh, home to “The Extractor” in seclusion.
- Bangkok, where “The Veteran” has taken refuge.
- Colorado, the hiding place of “The Mercenary.”
- Finally, in Hokkaido, “The Controller” is undergoing treatment at the Gamma Facility in Hokkaido.
These six targets have returned, and ready to be dealt with in HITMAN World of Assassination. The Sarajevo Six was originally released only for HITMAN 1, but now all players have the opportunity to go head-to-head with the Six targets and take down what remains of CICADA. Good luck.
can’t wait to try this Sarajevo 6 Campaign first time
I played those time ago on 2016. They’re not really much impressive and fairly simple (apart the Mercenary and the Controller), but it’s good to have them back again.
The price is not bothering me that much, it’s actually pretty cheap despite it used to be free for ps4 players. But, considering they gived us Ambrose and Freelancer for free, I can live with it. Still better than 7ds at last.
I hope there’s going to be associated challenges and maybe unlocks, but honestly just the news of this being available elsewhere than PS4 is already great.
At the very least, I expect all the challenges originally included in their missions brought back: one in Targets for simply eliminating each one, one for eliminating them Silent Assassin, and one for killing them in a specific way (The Veteran has two of these challenges). I also expect them to be available offline since they were in Hitman 2016.
Some good improvements would be: adding in difficulty options, allowing saving, adding in additional challenges, and adding item/suit unlocks for completing them.
