Hitman WOA: The Sarajevo Six Campaign Thread

Yeah it’s really good news to see it made available to everyone. I remember reaching this years ago to see if it’s was available outside of PS4, but at the time it obviously wasn’t.

Looking forward to playing it!

I wonder if they’re going to redo the mission briefings for the DLC. The Director never really got one, they just shoved a promo video they released prior to launch into the game - complete with Diana saying that you can’t play the contract until The Director lands in Paris on March 11th and that the contracts will slowly become available across the year.

Maybe they should make it free for PlayStation platform and increase the prices a bit on the platforms to offset losses from doing so.

Did the original campaign have save options? Will the new one?

It didnt, i doubt they will change it
Only thing im hoping for is maybe some unlocks and more challenges

Dammit. There’s too much side content in this game that doesn’t have save options. IOI really needs to do something about that.

What’s weird is I think the Sarajevo Six are the only missions available offline that don’t let you save

So with the S6 being for sale now, maybe ioi finessed Sony with a profit % of that DLC to remove the PS exclusivity and give everyone a chance to buy it and play?

However ioi did it, I never thought it would happen. So good shit!

Actually there are, those being the fact that they likely had Contracts with Busey, Cole and Bean, restricted to the respective Games.

So did S6. No more excuses.

You mean contracts this et’s in Contract Mode?

This contracts don’t working

Image rights, and voice rights, are expensive, and the budget can be better used elsewhere.

Only if those who provide them car enough to charge enough, and there’s not really much else left to spend the budget on; the game’s major additions are essentially done. If IOI was able to do the work to renegotiate how they could use the S6, I’m sure a couple of aging actors can be schmoozed over.

Heck, Busey may just be happy to be relevant again, even if only for Hitman players. Would Gary Cole need to sign off too?

Good luck finding enough players that would want to pay to play missions that were previously given for free (and can also be played for free on PC with tools like Peacock) to warrant IO even wanting to renegotiate these deals.

They’re ETs. There’s nothing for players to pay for, unless they make a permanently available offline version of the ETs that can be played on their own outside of arcade mode, in which case you’re paying for all of them. Besides, with Freelancer being free, I doubt IOI needs to charge much for any content going forward. They’re pretty set.

They’re not going to spend time and money renegotiating deals to just hand out the content for free (case in point: TS6) for no benefit to them as a business. If IO had any desire to bring these ETs back, the team that Travis passed the idea onto to “recast” the ETs by replacing the character models and re-recording the dialogue with a different voice actor would’ve jumped at the proposal.

If the cheaper option didn’t gain traction, then renegotiating the deals is definitely off the table.

Same conjecture that was par for the course with the S6 until now. You don’t know what they’ll do or why, and it’s clear now that none of us do. Until all service for this game stops completely, it’s always still possible, and as I said before, there are no longer any excuses.

Well, plenty of excuses, but IOI doesn’t always share the “behind-the-scenes”

But I ultimately agree! Receiving the S6 on PC after all this time, I have high hopes for quality-of-life accessibility into the future
