the hidden extra punchline to this joke is the idea of selling santa fortuna or colorado separately

HITMAN: The Seven Deadly Sins DLC - Episode 1 - GREED
Would be quite fitting for this company if they ever did th-- oh right they already did…
Season of greed is in Copenhagen all year long ![]()
Looks like the Sapienza edition is getting delisted after May 30th](HITMAN WOA Episode: Sapienza available for free)
We can now rejoice!

Do you think it’s because people found it too confusing, or is it also because player’s complains?
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a message from the HITMAN team regarding the HITMAN World of Assassination Episode: Sapienza.
The goal of this new bundle was to provide an accessible entry point to the game for anyone who had not played HITMAN WOA up until then, allowing them to own a part of it, without having to commit to HITMAN Part One, or the full HITMAN World of Assassination.
Considering the current feedback regarding the bundle, we understand that it did not necessarily meet the needs of all new players for HITMAN WOA. As such, the bundle will be available for free from May 29th 6:00PM CEST / 9:00AM PDT to May 30th 6:00PM CEST / 9:00AM PDT on Steam, and after that time period, it will be shelved. Meaning it will no longer be for sale, following a free window.
We appreciate your feedback as always, and we’ll keep on listening.
Kind Regards
Combatglue
As someone who hasn’t read the thread:
Remove everything from the store exept for the Hitman: WOA complete pack. All three base games in one.
Beside that, give players the upgrade DLC pack available. An additional pack including all DLC’s.
You want people to try your game? Make a demo available in the store, with only freeform training available.
Fuck variants or single level try out packs. Same goes for VR version whateverthefuck. Current buyers need to have a professional degree in sales and maths to figure out whatever version to buy. Your strategy doesn’t attract new players. It scares them off.
“The pain outweighed the profits, so we’re getting rid of it.”
“This should simplify things.”
I agree, they fixed the extremely confusing store only to make it confusing again later on…
It’s clearly a weird marketing technique because everytime the game shows it’s on sale (to attract people) it turns out it’s Part One that is, and not the full game, and that just creates confusion with people buying the wrong edition

Thanks to you and the rest of IO for listening to the feedback regarding this bundle! This was one of the strangest editions the game has had, and now that it’s gone the game is less confusing to purchase.
I would suggest that if you still want to provide a better entry point for new players wanting to try the game, then it would be better to include Paris for free permanently in the Free Starter Pack and publicize that to people. From other comments I’ve posted in this thread:
Paris was designed to be a very approachable level for new players, and it shows how much content is included within each main map of the trilogy. I’m confident that it would go a lot further in engaging people and making them want to buy the full game than the Sapienza edition did.
Do they still do free location rotations for the Starter Pack? Because I feel that was the best way to handle tempting purchases. That and you don’t convolute the store page (any more than it already has).
Nope they stopped those about a year ago I think but seasonal stuff like the garden show and egg hunt are still free
How refreshing it feels when they actually listen for once. I still think Part One should also recieve this treatment to make the store less confusing.
It was baffling that they made this pack in the first place because H1 clearly showed that an incomplete product is not attractive to players regardless of how cheap it is. People want a full game, not scraps.
As many people have said, if you want a cheap entry point just make paris free. You’re not going into bankrupcy for giving away an almost 10 year old map.
Poor idea from the start.
Lack of responses to feedback that started to roll in four and a half months ago.
A period of digging in their heels and insisting people wanted this.
(Hilariously) blindly sharing a post on BlueSky criticising them for this pack.
While its great that they’re finally removing it, but there has been many failures relating to this edition - them finally waving the white flag on it doesn’t really feel that great.
