Holy fucking shit.
Hilarious.
Holy fucking shit.

It’s gone now. 202020
Yeah, I saw. R.I.P
On the plus side, that confirms he reads Reddit more than here.
“Leave the Bartoli. Take the Blueberry Muffins.”
At least good on IOI for going on bluesky.
Strange it was shadow made, they didn’t announced it on their other socials/X/twitter.
It’s kinda 101.
In fairness it’s hard to advertise Bluesky accounts on Twitter directly due to Elon.
The deletion seems to suggest that the repost was done without reading the post/watching the video… Not the best look.
Shame that they didn’t save the video and use it in the next livestream (still without first watching it). Would’ve been even funnier.
It’s not like the video title & thumbnail were even subtle either… not that it would even be a good excuse for accidentally reposting a highly critical video anyway, but still…
I can only assume the pretty picture of Sapienza is what caused the confusion. You know, in the same way a child might be drawn in by bright coloured toys in a toy shop.
Sometimes I think IOI likes messing with us.
A general message of “we expanded” with an associated picture of the bluesky logo seems to be the general template.
Another action is a post on Reddit, maybe asking the mods to pin it.
Seeing the current movements on the internet I’m sure both would be well engaged with.
Ok, we got to buy more and more. Does it ALLOW ME TO SAVE?? The game is no good to casual users/newbees IF we new comers cannot save and get frustrated and quite by “overtrying” over and over again while IOI smiles all the way to the bank.
I’m pretty sure that the game will even warn you when starting up the mission that you are spoiling the story. So in a way you are ruining the story by buying this version. Not that all people care about stuff like this, but still…
It’s only level 2, so not a giant spoiler but a new player wouldn’t necessarily know it’s only level two. To them it could be level 2 or it could be the last one.
I have now attempted communications with news outlets over Twitter and BlueSky by making an informative thread on both of the ongoing situation. Let’s hope our voices of anger and frustration can be heard on this issue
I have confirmed that the Steam Store has been updated with information on the Episode Upgrade Pack for Episode Sapienza.
However, the description still seems to be missing.
And since the “Upgrade Pack” includes “HITMAN 1 Complete First Season” and “HITMAN 1 GOTY Edition”, it is not clear what the actual situation is, but when someone who does not know the contents in detail sees the “Episode Upgrade Pack ” However, it would appear that buying the “Upgrade Pack” with almost the same contents is a better deal than buying the “Episode Upgrade Pack”.
Isn’t this a bit problematic?
“Upgrade Pack”

I think we have beaten this horse sufficiently. It’s all messed up. We don’t like it. IO are rolling with it anyway. It’s confusing. Life is hard. The end.
Life is indeed hard, but I’d rather a video game company I want to like wouldn’t make it harder to like them, and also annoy everyone else in the process with their schemes.
This is such a defeatist attitude. Lying down and rolling with the punches is not a healthy relationship to have with anyone, let-alone a company.
They are taking advantage of people, and are actively hampering their own game series for a quick buck. Raising the problems with that, even a week on, is not beating a dead horse. It’s reminding them that we’re not ready to call it quits, even if they want to.
For my part, I’m not gonna shut up about it, and will continue to mention it to them because they’ve fucked up and need to be reminded of that.
I think what @Yacob is saying is that we’ve said all that can be said about this particular instance, anything else at this point will just be repetitive, and if IOI haven’t taken our words to heart about it by now, they’re not going to regardless of how much we go back over it. It’s not defeatist to close down the argument on this subject, only if we don’t say anything the next time they do something like this, which they will if they haven’t taken our words to heart. We can then bring this up again while listing off their bad decisions when such a time comes.
I’m with drib - the magnitude of the shittiness of IOI’s recent direction of travel justifies and deserves continued and repeated South Park rabble-rabble-rabbling until they get the message.
Companies can and do reverse course following negative public reaction to bad decisions that they’ve made, and just because the shittiest companies don’t do that, let’s not miss the opportunity for IOI to prove to us one way or the other whether they want to be a business that’s hostile to its customer base or one that isn’t.
Right, but again, if they haven’t learned the lesson on this one issue by now, they’re not gonna by us repeating it over and over, because they’re already ignoring us. The key is to immediately get on them about it, which we did, make our points, which we did, and then if they do anything else this bad again, immediately do it there too. With such responses being received each time they take a new action, that’s when the message will start to sink in. Us going on about this issue isn’t going to sway them when they’ve already moved on to working on the next thing. We just have to hope they learned from the backlash on this one that the next thing won’t be like this, and we need to be ready to pounce immediately if it is. We can keep talking about this, but unless some new development about it comes up, we’re just going to make the same points again from here forward.
