As much as I would find a level with a family and multi-generational social dynamic fun and novel for the WoA, a gender reveal have the one (big) issue of a pregnant NPC.
Which I guess would be a no.
Weddings are still open, (retirement party was made in Mendoza)
And love your idea of a 4th of july celebration.
I also just want some firework (but Chonqging would be the best fit). I think I just want some “normal public not a conspiracy just normal day people in a normal life event level”.
I mean they are releasing a bunch of items and suits with new challenges.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the pumpkin suit is released this way.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the two unlocks from the Undying were given in the december/Christmas roadmap (Lil Flashy and the explosive pen, they look like ordinary christmas gift for a child and an adult).
Honestly, if anyone on any level is going to be going overboard for the 4th of July, it’d be all the gun-toting mercenaries in Colorado… those guys LOVE to blow stuff up. I could totally see that level turned into an uber-patriotic American love-fest.
Why would that be an issue? Designing one shouldn’t be a problem, and if it is, the NPC can simply be sitting at a table, pregnant belly covered by the table top, the rest left to the player’s imagination. If the temptation of players to kill a pregnant woman is the problem, they simply make it so that that NPC absolutely cannot be harmed or disrupted by ANYTHING - guns, explosions, thrown objects, emetics, tranquilizers - nothing will affect them, they’ll be more part of the scenery than an NPC, like the trees and grass that move with the breeze but aren’t affected by anything the player does.
Problem solved. Bring on the gender reveal assassination!
Looks like either the old datamine or my memory were wrong. What’s just been announced as the “Polar Survival Suit” we thought was the Prologue/Hokkaido Snow Festival Suit
So hopefully this means they will be keeping the challenge packs associated with the seasonal content
Haha I love that this came up here, I still can’t believe the reach of this phrase and it’s soundbite, I’m sure many people use it not knowing where it originated. We can thank @ScroobiusJib for that, he thought to clip it at the time - GRB
