I mean it’s no secret IO and the Moderators work in Cahoots from time to time. So if Cake has insider knowledge it’s in the realm of possibility.
I hope we don’t really get official news on the last location specifically, but that’s just me and my knowledge of the series as a whole.
As for the real news if @cake941 knows a thing or two about Progression Transfer and how it will work my PM’s are open.

Whittleton Creek would be a great fit for a Christmas themed overhaul, I don’t have much faith that will happen though as Holiday Hoarders was just returned to Paris when Hitman 2 came out. I think it was available for the holidays then went off, until the following year it was made permanent again. Man would I like to see it but now I need to use the bathroom.

A lot of nice speculation here. As much as I would love to see one of the Romanian Castles in Hitman 3 I think there is almost zero chance of that happening because 47’s background is too rooted to a fictional hospital in Romania for the ending of the trilogy to not all tie back to it…which leaves no room for a castle level. But the second level in that amazing England mansion is pretty sweet…that will do as a nice substitute I think.
I honestly hope the Romania level will not be a castle. We already have a castle level in Sgail, plus Dartmoor is in a similar vein. The asylum/hospital option doesn´t sound too engaging either. IO would really need to spice them up for either of them to work. That being said, I´m curious what the actual setting will turn out to be…

Which yes I think is the best possible outcome for a map set in mountains in the middle of nowhere
Similar to what Heimdall said but when he says ‘base’ it makes me think of something on the surface with hangars and guard towers and whatnot, I wouldn’t like that :S

There is almost no chance of Romania having a military base level…the far and away most likely scenario is it’s the fictional hospital that 47 grew up in but also somewhat of a chance it is one of the Romanian castles in the Carpathian Mountains. Secret military base for Romania of all places is VERY unlikely given 47’s ties to the country and the other major potential landmarks there.
Yeah I’m not thinking military, but something still ‘secret’. Could be some sort of Providence hideout or laboratory
I just really hope it’s not the asylum because like people have said, they’re long abandoned, I’m not really looking for ruined buildings with no civilians in my Hitman experience

It could be a sort of isolate and mostly desolate place for a final showdown with the Constant and some plot twist villain/s…something similar to the beach level at the start of Hitman 2 but with more plot going on. I hope not…I would prefer it to be a full and populated level with a lot of opportunities like the others but given the country it’s kind of an oddball…not a lot of things it can be and whatever the map it will be very intense on story.
i’d like a small rural town with a secret lab or whatever that ties into the story
It might be a secret underground place under the ruins of the asylum…as sort of “aha, you thought the place was abandoned and just ruin now” type thing…the last place you would think of searching where it’s like “it never stopped”.
This can be a problem when people finish the story and we just have a year of escalations and then a year of just contracts mode which both don’t focus on any story the map is built around :S
But yes I’m fearing it will be exactly like you describe 
Well anyone who played C47 or Contracts knows there is an underground to the Asylum

If it hasn’t caved in from being abandoned, is still active, and still exists in this iteration of Hitman it might be that…but I the closest thing we can expect to anything underground. But this is the grand finale of the trilogy…the big showdown that everything has been leading to. So I expect a more fixed and scripted level without a million opportunities and NPCs. Something more cinematic I think.
It 100% is the final location…it IS the 6th and final level of the game. This is known and confirmed.
