Let's Talk Sports

I just hope it wasn’t a financial decision. Liam is young and cute and charming and will sell a lot of t shirts in the English speaking counties of this world. Yuki is young, adorable in like a sometimes laughing with him sometimes laughing at him way, and he will sell a lot of t shirts in Japan. I hope they didn’t go with Liam hoping he was the next Dani Ric.

All that said, I like Liam Lawson. His fill in races last year were great. I want him to do well, but Yuki earned that seat.

Speaking of Kiwis, did you see Angela Cullen is back schlepping Hamiltons bag, ordering his breakfast, telling him when to have a wee, and doing whatever else a physiotherapist actually does?

Nah but if it makes him happy and, more important, it makes him win then he can get handies from MBS or have Vettel be his manservant for all I care.

Ferrari double DQ after the race. Charles under weight and Lewis had a small skid plate

Well Piastri won, so at least I can be happy about that.

My nan could drive better than this. One of them is dead and the other has fucking macular degeneration.

Like, ay carumba, they are probably gonna kill Barcelona for this!

Not only did we get relegated, again, but even worse Vardy is leaving :sob:
One of our worst seasons all round.

But you can be proud that you’ve beaten all those sheikhs money and won the title.
With him as well

Looking forward to the Europa League Final mate?
Two world class teams at the height of their powers who strike fear into their opponents!

I have a feeling it’s going to be an all time classic!

I know you’re being sarcastic. It was an awful season for both teams. But I was 11 years old when I’ve first seen Tottenham play (FA Cup against Nottingham Forest). Been a fan ever since. My father was on business in London that year and brought me home a jersey. Still have it and will wear it tonight. Or should I wear the other one? Not sure… And I’m fully aware that I will probably be the only Spurs fan at the local bar tonight.

That’s beautiful mate! They still fit you?

I will always have a soft spot for the '91 kit though.

And yeah, of course I would love a win tonight, if only to see Sonny get his silverware. He deserves it after all he’s given to the club.

Back then they didn’t have kids sizes. This one was very large for me as a kid. Now it fits perfectly. The 1984 retro shirt would be appropriate for a Uefa-final. Still undecided. And yes: Sonny for the win!

I do, but I have a tiny bit of belief in ManUtd, despite they squeezed through unbeaten.
I will be glad if they win.
This season is not the best for both, according to the table. I’m not following Spurs, but their standing speaks pretty loud.
As they say, may the best win. Hope it turns to be Mancunians.
You know there is always the best, even amongst the worse ones, right?

I vote for sacking Amorim now.
Congrats to Tottenham though. First tropy in 17 years it’s quite an achievement

Nice one bro.
Both teams are going to need a big rebuild next season. Even with this win and the CL boost, there’s still much work to do for Spurs.

For now though I’m just going to enjoy it. Best worst season ever!
