Let's Talk Sports

Many people here support Argentina, but Cape Verde has earned a special place in our hearts.

They may not have won the World Cup, but they won the admiration of millions in the world’s most populous country here.

Their journey is an inspiration for our own nation to one day qualify for the FIFA World Cup. Hope we come out of Cricket one day.

I got this clip, no offense to Don Yates and Tamara Vidal though - not sure of the authenticity, I saw the match highlights.

Personally, I’m supporting Belgium to lift the World Cup.

If Belgium wins, I’m throwing a party! :tada:

If not, I’d be happy to see France, Argentina, or Brazil become champions. (Germany and Netherlands were unfortunately eliminated)

And honestly, I’d also be happy if any team with the same passion, courage, and fighting spirit as Cape Verde lifts the trophy.

Belgium reminding the US we just can’t play with Euro teams yet

England beats Mexico and all 3 hosts are out.

Last 10 minutes, Egypt vs Argentina was uncomfortable.

I am an Argentine supporter, but Egypt played a better game.

Next is Argentina vs Switzerland, let’s see who’s side does the FIFA Officials support  FIFA is from Switzerland but they are inclined towards Argentina

Technically: Fifa is located in Switzerland (very favorable taxes). It was founded in France. But yes, this will be interesting to watch.
