So happy for you linux. And again thank you for taking time out of your life to currate these contracts.
I think i was referring to the thing at the top of the thread?
"just as intended, my publicity stunt was a success
i joke, and i’m actually extraordinarily relieved"
You were intending to test the response time of the QA / bug fix team of IOI. This response time was ~ 50 hrs for PC/XBOX/PS.
Next time, [linux_penguin] upload a more complicated, broken Feature Contract, and start your timer !
IOI receive zero income since launch from the active player base of the Hitman Trilogy, including Freelancer.
So for IOI to have a response team of real humans and not AI bots responsive to the Hitman community, illustrates an ongoing commitment of IOI to Hitman. More evidence of action, more than just a statement from the CEO.
IOI love to have an existing, active community for their Hitman Trilogy which they spent millions and ~ a decade in building (since 2014).
IOI appreciate the feedback in improvements to its Hitman platform as long as it is constructive criticism.
The worst outcome for IOI is for posted, broken contracts that no one plays or cares whether the new content is busted.
@Kevin_Rudd I enjoyed the escalation FC. Not sure how my playthrough ended up placing me first on the Xbox leaderboards today. It’s not like I’m a speed runner.
Keep quiet, dont let the speedrunners know. They are unaware of the exit fix maybe.
This is the Escalation mod FC, not the ET mod FC.
The only trick I used was the gunfire-panic state for the cooks in the kitchen to get to my pickup.
0:00 Santa Takes Care of Business ( 1m24 )
1:48 The Bullet Paradox ( 49s )
2:57 Strange Objectives ( 3m11 )
6:33 Dance Electric ( 1m18 )
8:24 Imposter Elves ( 1m15 )
10:10 Neighbours MK II ( 1m31 )
11:57 Quicksilver ( 1m30 )
14:02 Castling ( 1m34 )
15:56 The Art Lover ( 53s )
17:13 The Last Gift Under The Tree ( 50s )
Bit late to these Featured Contracts but this was a pretty solid batch. Enjoyed all of them.
I had the most trouble with Dance Electric, took me about 45 minutes to figure it out but eventually got a time of 2:43 which I was very happy with.
Strange Objectives was the second hardest until I started using the Flash Phone as an Audio Distraction (amazing how it works better than all of the actual audio distractions).
The only other one that took a little while was Castling and that was just because of the randomness of how the guards would react when I body shot them (bringing other guards with them).
Overall solid batch 8/10
You mean the little running guy? IOI implemented a toggle for running instead of having to hold down the button on the controller or keyboard. However you normally run on your system, that’s how you toggle it.
No way! I wasnt aware and one of my PS4 controller has an intermittent left trigger so sometimes 47 doesnt run when I press it, and could mean a lot in Freelancer if I’m getting shot at, outnumbered and unble to flee or hide in time.
great stuff! i’m still holding on to a little hope that i’ll get to curate some contracts someday but after a year and a half break i’m not placing any bets (;
great picks linux!
