That Redford gif never gets old.

Pointed out before the guard near the plane in Sapienza is gone. Well, the two guards on the hill between the Shaman hut and cocaine fields in Santa Fortuna are also gone.

These guard removal changes are honestly disappointing, are the guards at least there on Master difficulty?

No, this isn’t the case. The Sapienza lab guard is still only there on Master difficulty. The duo street soldiers still patrol on the Santa Fortuna hill as well.

You might be right about the hill guys only being there on master in Hitman 2, but Sapienza cave entrance and plane being completely unguarded on pro doesn’t sound right to me at all. I rarely play on master, only to get the challenges, and I dealt with that guard a thousand times I feel like.

I guess anything is possible though, mandella effect and all that.

The leaderboards now seem to be capped at 500 entries.

A positive change: I noticed a new animation where 47, instead of always looking straight ahead, sometimes takes the time to look around a bit while walking.

I don’t know how this animation is triggered (specific location, nearby NPC’s, …), but I first noticed it in Dubai in the cloudy art installation.

Loved that. 47 is always so focussed on his job, it’s about time he enjoys the little pleasures and does some sightseeing too.

In Santa Fortuna last night I noticed that when 47 puts on a mansion guard uniform, the shirt actually matches the one he takes off the guard. I could of sworn that in Hitman 2 it was always the same color when 47 put it on. I don’t have Hitman 2 installed anymore though to find out.

I can’t say specifically for the mansion guard disguise, but in my experience of H2 you always put on the exact outfit the NPC was wearing

For example in Sgail, Dexter’s outfit is classified as just a regular Ark Member uniform, but if you put his on you still get the cowboy hat

This is how it works since Blood Money my dude :joy: the look of the disguise always (mostly) depends on the NPC you take clothes from.

Hmm. Could be a mandela effect then and I’m remembering wrong.

Just noticed: Guards shoot faster in combats than H2, no matter of difficulty level.

I like that the camera changes field of view when entering the the shallow pool in Dubai for the fist time.

Similar to when it changes when climbing to show more of a buildings ledges.

Also, is 47 quickly swapping suitcase hand grips to throw it new?

Like others have said, this is how it has always worked. If there’s an NPC with a hood, you’ll have the hood up or down depending on how that NPC is wearing it.

I’m pretty sure in Paris there’s that one Sanguine Crew NPC that is wearing a Blue shirt rather than a Red one. (He talks to his friend in the room where the camera-lady is.) If you put his outfit on, it will be that rare blue shirt variant.

I don’t believe so. But I also don’t remember spamming the aim button when holding a briefcase before, so it may have just gone overlooked to me.

It’s mostly new. I just looked up some homing briefcase videos and 47 keeps it in his left hand until you trigger the throw in H2, when he puts it in his right hand for a split second before he goes into the throwing motion. Now he flips it over into his right hand as soon as you start aiming the throw.

You could but you need to be really close to them and press the button prompt quickly but it’s definitely not smooth as it was before

Anything new regarding the inconsistencies of NPCs schedules and reactions in this “puzzle” ? Notably these 4 :

  • NPCs placed at very different positions (X, Y, Z) when the mission starts (example : a woman on a bench near the joggers at the Marina in Miami, OR in front of the coconut stall)

  • NPCs having an animation played for a different quantity of time on each attempt, the value in seconds being not completely random but picked among 3 (example : a journalist to the left of 47 when starting Miami in the club, reaching the toilet at 3 different moments after an inconsistent phone call)

  • NPCs who can puke in front of 2 different vomit stations while always poisoned at the same position (X, Y, Z) (example : a gardener on the roof in Bangkok, and alas many many others)

  • Guards hearing bullets instead of a simple noise when firing a single bullet in a camera (and rarely, they do not even react at all)

Had there been some improvements, or is it the same stupid bullshit ?
