One thing I noticed is that you can now distract NPC:s again while they’re still investigating another distraction by throwing any kind of an object. Previously it only worked with coins.
Any news on the February Roadmap? Or will there be roadmaps for months as used to?
The suitcase thing is new. But I noticed the only time 47 doesn’t put on the exact outfit is with Haven’s tech crew. He always puts the hood up.
IIRC this was the case all the way back in Contracts in the Rotterdam maps, the bikers had hood up and hood down variants.
I can’t remember without checking whether this was the case in C47 Plutonium Runs Loose.
Well they made it so you can’t move on to showstopper after beating Final Test, just like how you can’t move onto the Author or Bitter Pill from Source/Silver. Thanks IO, way to make playing the game in chronological order slightly less convenient for no reason. Like why?
Know what I’d love though? You know those patches of grass near the entrance to the Himmipan Hotel? Next to the trees? Add Colombia’s foliage there and boom, it’s so much easier to kill Ken Morgan without going for the obvious tricks.
It’s probably bug, but it’s a very weird one, and quite a glaring difference with H2.
When you start the Isle of Sgail mission you normally get a cutscene where 47 and Grey are in the boat, heading down to the isle in their black raincoats. I just checked in H2, and they’re both there.
In H3, Grey is missing. 47 is heading to the island on his own. When he steps out of the boat, the raft takes a left by itself. When you go to the exit where you have that raft waiting for you, it’s also empty.
Dude fell into the water I guess. Hope he’s alright.

That’s how they got rid of the 100GB file size between H2 and H3.
Grey’s model was just really, really complex and took up the file size.
They could have compressed his textures by setting them to grayscale.
The more I hear about stuff like this, missing voicelines and more, I wish the game would rather just be 100gb bigger.

The slippers in New York have also disappeared. Also 47 in the legacy levels doesn’t hold the briefcase during the intro cutscene. It’s super weird.
I think that’s a joke. Plus I don’t think voicelines were taking up that much space.
wasnt it like that in H2 as well? it might just be bc the anims arent made to hold the briefcase
New Punching sounds, when you fight a guard it makes a sound that makes it sound more realistic
Nah they patched it in. Plus most legacy levels didn’t have him walking, mostly sitting down. It’s mostly Paris that’s affected, I thought it was cool how he took out the invitation while holding the briefcase. He also no longer has it in hand while ascending the ladder in Sgail.
On the bright side, Hero of SanFortuna is gone!
Not sure if new or bugged, I cannot switch sides when throwing objects on Series X. Aiming is fine, throwables is not.

IIRC you’d click the left thumbstick, same as aiming. You probably know though lol.
It was a (terrible) deliberate design decision. You can only shoulder swap while aiming a weapon now.
