I did some more contracts on Hokkaido and the morgue had the normal red lighting. Weird glitch the other day I guess, which survived multiple reloads. Oh well.

If you take a picture and screenshots it fast enough the bloom goes away for a second.
Here you can see a bit of Berlin with and without bloom:
Also bc there is bloom you can’t see the moon

I know it is not for HITMAN 3 specifically but I thought it would be neat to share some official lighting comparisons made by IOI.
I dunno what they were doing with this constantly changing layout, and I think the last one is displayed as After vs Before instead of Before vs After. It is still interesting though.
The Sapienza one is actually H2016 GOTY vs Legacy Pack I think? Not sure what the last Bangkok one is, might be the same.

If I remember correctly Sapienza one is a comparison of The Complete First Season and GOTY Edition.
Equally like the others. I think they did only one official public lighting comparison when they released GOTY Edition of HITMAN 2016

I assumed it was H2016 compared to GOTY H2016 at first though I think the one looks too vibrant to be GOTY.
Only other hint I have is that the image is labelled “Legacy_Lighting” on IOI’s site. Could still be what you said though.
EDIT: It’s neither, both images are from the legacy pack simply comparing how they looked before/after an update IO released to improve lighting on legacy maps. Found the original blog post it came from.

I don’t miss super yellow Bangkok at all.
Lots of critics of every lighting nuance within the Hitman Trilogy and only one lighting artist devoted to Hitman III (according to the executive producer).
That one lighting artist is getting a lot of love / attention … It is like a single actor play where this one actor is receiving direction from 1,000 different directors at once …
