Yes! A thousand times yes to this!
This has the plus side of being doable without recording new dialog or whatever. Hope they do it.
Another one Iâd like to see is the ability to place a grape knife at the place the dude goes looking for it. As it is now I can place one there (of course) but the dude doesnât see it because it isnât in his script.
This would (at the very least) demand new scripting for that NPC, so I think thatâs probably less doable.
I would really prefer if there was some way to do the entire âMurder by Proxy/Closing Statement/To Loyaltyâ sequence in SASO. You would just nudge certain things underway and then mingle at the party until you either go to tango with Diana or just exfil straight out, with the upstairs ending of Closing Statement being optional like the China level core hack after you have completed it once. You wouldnât even have to animate anything, Diana would take care of herself according to her training off screen as long as you exit before the timer runs out.
I mean it would be such a great canon end to the trilogyâs last big sandbox level, having your targets killed off by others through clever manipulation while you sip some wine in the sunset and enjoy the band.
Just discovered something. If you place the bottle of vintage 1945 wine on the table in the meeting room the meeting automatically triggers. Doesnât make any bloody sense, but still.
Added by Edit: I also think I half way broke this Mission Story by knocking out the guards in the meeting room. Diana walks up to the kill-room by herself (with no guards escorting her).
I did something similar when I knocked out both Cortezar and the man whoâs supposed to stand underneath the chandelier. Yates comes up alone, and then the game prompts me to drop a chandelier even though noone is underneath it.
I tried doing that as Corvo, with the actual Vargas leading the tour. He got stuck in there WITH Tamarva Vidal and I swear when Diana called me out as being callous it nearly broke me.
This actually allowed me to SASO the meeting sequence, thanks for the information!
Edit: Nevermind, I was wondering why they were taking so long, turns out they were just standing there, waiting for the sommelier. They should definitely make a patch where the meeting will actually take place and go through if you place the bottle on the table, it was actually a pretty nice route to sneak in a suit.
Say where is the Bronson microphone head?
In the cinema, at the back of the room as you head down the stairs into it, near two Winery Workers.
I should have known. I guess I didnât do a good enough scan of the area.
This worked for me BTW, so I donât know why itâs not working for you. May be proximity related I guess (I was listening in from a hiding spot).
Ah yes, I went to the attic too early to chill out and wait for the end cycle. Turns out you have to listen in to the meeting for it to trigger properly. Thank you for the tips!
I got bored so I am going to rattle off a bunch of wine facts.
First off all the Yates have a more industrial sized vineyard which is nice because Mendoza makes by volume unlike other wine regions in South America. Mendoza has slowly become one of South Americaâs most renowned wine regions thought.
\Mendoza especially grows a lot of Malbec in fact they account for 75 percent of the worldâs production with 20 percent of all crop growth in the nation. It pairs well with leaner red meat and dark poultry, soft cheeses, earthier and roasted vegetables (onion, mushroom and the like). Oh and the flavour profile is accurate to the conditions as well: Full bodied with with notes of berry and plum with tobacco, vanilla and chocolate. The acidity and tannin are also accurate.
They also grow Cab Sav in the region as well but not Pinot which is why it is the winery most obscure brand since they are growing a strain not suited to the region. Also the description of the Cab Savâs flavour profile is accurate and it also pairs well with meats of all sorts.
This whole level actually got me interested in wine to any serious degree for the first time in my life, and Iâm actually drinking a Malbec from Mendoza right now as I type this. Iâve had a few different wines before but theyâve only been blends Iâve gotten because the label looked cool. This is my first foray into a specific style/region and Iâm really hyped to try more.
My first playthrough, I had just a classic Hitman experience of trying something to see if it worked, then being delighted when it did by tossing a propane flask into the fireplace as Yates walked by, within just moments of seeing him for the first time. A beautiful moment, wish Iâd recorded a clip.
My experimentation with the other target was less successful, ended up shooting her through a window and fleeing after several failed attempts.
Nice! Wine world is a special and delicate thing. I love it (tho i donât know much myself). Argentina has great wines and i love how Hitman portrays them. You must also try some spanish wines too, Rioja or Ribera del Duero.
Thereâs just nothing âspecialâ about the Constantâs AI that sets him apart from regular NPCs, considering heâs such an important character in the games. My biggest annoyance is that due to how the Constantâs AI is programmed, itâs impossible to approach him with a suit-only playthrough.
