Murder Mystery Game šŸ” 2.0

Lol it seems I missed this way up in the thread. Good to know I’m not in any danger of the group turning on me. (the killer though… yeesh :grimacing:)

I very much doubt that, but…
Mr Liu… probably shouldn’t be the murder given the fire incident
Yacob seems to be quite trustworthy
Dr S has a reason to vote me as I’ve accused him of murder in the mission championship threads
I’ve won several murder games in my time and I’m better than revealing I’m the murderer
Which leaves Baroness Sristensen.

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: You think he’s carrying a grudge from another thread? Well maybe but…it’s not too late to try and change his mind and his vote. I keep the polls open for a full day.

Sristensen? Never heard of her

Your glasses lens were found in the grave, and the double murder was carried out with a specialised weapon only you seem to have the skill to use, I even have you on tape bragging about it.

Sorry Mr Stuyvesant, but you’ll need to do more than just point fingers to clear your name

A skilled and experienced murderer among us? Well… This doesn’t look good on you

You may call it a typo, it looks to me like a slip of the tongue. ā€œEven if I wasn’t the murdererā€ doesn’t exactly give the best impressions

I feel like you’ve managed to incriminate yourself far better than anyone in this game. Ultimately trying to shift blame to the Baroness after quite a list which includes the admittance of winning ā€œseveral murder gamesā€ as well as overlooking such a terrible mistake that points to you as the murderer (ā€œEven if I wasn’t the murdererā€) only makes you more of a suspicious individual. However, I do understand reacting in the moment.

I haven’t been extensively involved with what’s been occurring in the manor due to my ongoing project on the doors, so I’d like to give my condolences to the recent deaths. Truly unfortunate and brutal ways to go. You should really lock up your weapon cases better Lord @Nazareth!

Additionally, as art usually helps with my remembrance of previous events, I remembered Rose the escort. Assuming I am the ā€œartistā€ character she mentions, I am very flattered by her words in her little… book; however, I am not of her other notes and the accounts from my fellow guests. Good riddance! If the murderer truly did kill Rose, I can guess that they had a motive. As for a motive against other guests? Maybe not keeping up with the relationships between my peers is failing me.

As I do love a bit of different perspective in a discussion, I haven’t seen the explicit mention of the glasses in the grave being used to frame @linux_penguin. Though, Mr. Stuyvesant doesn’t seem to be using that defense either. I find that quite curious.

Words from Gods lips. Who doesn’t love a friendly drinker?? The only person I would ever consider killing is my own wife. And even then it would only cross my mind when she was nagging about how drunk I was when I got home. So… nothin to worry about here.

Leading vote is against Mr. Stuyveseant. I caught two of my maids trying to put back a few of my throwing knifes so I made them talk. Turns out he did steal some of them to show off his skills to impress the maids, throwing them at a tree. They also confirm that he was not the last to use the shower because they were…spending time privately. After they heard he was a suspect, they tried to return the knifes in hopes of getting him out of trouble, so looks like he’s innocent.

Well this is pretty significant, I was damn sure it was Stuyvesant, so how did his glasses lens end up in the grave? And his signature throwing knives? This must have been one massive set-up

If history is to be believed, 2 more of us will be killed in the very near future :fearful:

Watch your backs everyone, death stalks us all…

House Cleaning has just discovered the bodies of Mr. Stuyvesant @linux_penguin and Mr. Williams @TheChicken stuffed together in a maintenance closet on the ground floor. Deep red marks around their necks so looks like they were strangled.

Possibly from a garrote or some fiber wire. This was found on Mr. Williams.

So now we begin the endgame. Baroness @SilentWraith, @Yacob, Mr. Liu @plover and Dr. Starlight @Silvereyes, all of you to the main hall. This will be the final poll of the game. There will be no further clues. I suggest you review all the information already presented because if you guess wrong once again, the killer will take out two more targets and the last one wouldn’t stand a chance by themselves therefor winning the game. Good Luck. :smiling_imp:

  • Dr. Starlight (Slivereyes)
  • Yacob
  • Ms. Kristensen (SilentWraith)
  • Mr. Liu (plover)

Alright everyone, this is important, can we refrain from voting for at least a couple of hours so I have time to evaluate all of the evidence, and then we can have enough time to discuss?

:ghost: holy shit well this is a twist :ghost:

Ladies and Gentlemen, (and all the ghosts killed along the way)

I have reviewed the evidence and have enough evidence to make my conviction.

The killer is Dr Starlight!

Hear me out, this may get quite lengthy

From the very beginning, this ā€œdoctorā€ has been setting off alarm bells. No ordinary killer would go around killing in the way this sick bastard has, let me remind you of the deaths so far:

  • Rose was killed by electrocution in the bathtub. I would assume that someones first murder would be something simpler: a bullet, or poison etc. But no, our local Dr Starlight just had to show off how smart he could be

  • Mr Liu suffered a similar fate earlier on, only to barely make it out alive. His room was completely burned to the ground, again with the theatrics

Do i really have to explain this one?

The next one is quite juicy, the late Mr Wulff called the doctor out on his bullshit:

  • The next thing we know, Mr Wulff is found dead, Starlight must have been going after anyone who spoke out against him. this time with a staged suicide that didn’t fool anyone. This must have infuriated the doctor to no end, and this rage can be felt in the next killing, the murder of Miss Graves.

  • Penelope Graves, found shot dead with a stolen revolver, six times in the chest, I can literally feel the frustration with this one, he didn’t try any theatrics with this one, he simply wanted to remind us of his wrath, without the possibility of him fucking it all up

  • As he grew more comfortable, he went for a double murder of Mr Whitehall and Mr Harris, with throwing knives of all things! And he even successfully framed the late Mr Stuyvesant by planting one of his glasses lenses at the scene. The grave Lord Nazareth found was shallow, clearly meant to be found. Framing Marcus was the plan all along!

  • With Stuyvesant found innocent, he served no purpose anymore. He was promptly garroted alongside Mr Williams and stuffed into a maintenance closet, he wants us to know he can get to anyone without us even realising

I am clearly not the first one to have noticed this disturbing trend

Motive? I’ve got one for you:

This guy was robbed the hardest out of everyone, I only lost $10,000, but I’m literally royalty, that money is nothing to me. Lets not forget that even Rose thought you would kill her (which you later did)

To support this claim, I am going to not only attempt to clear myself, but also completely clear both Yacob and Mr Liu.

Firstly, for most of the polls so far, i have attracted 1 or 2 votes at most, this was never enough to vote me out, but always kept me suspicious in everyones minds. This is why I have survived long enough to make it this far, because killing me would be disadvantageous to the killer, as it would be harder to shift away the blame. Though I fear now this is the last poll, Dr Starlight will not hesitate to go all in on blaming me…

Yacob, he arrived to the manor after the game had already begun (and the roles already allocated) and therefore cannot physically be the killer.

And for Mr Liu, well he was the first to die, and I can confirm this is not a ā€œsuicideā€ to fool the rest of us, as per the rules of the game

Yeah, damn near being burned to ash doesnt fit this criteria.

@Yacob and @plover , I hope you will see the evidence that I have presented and join me in exposing the maniacal Dr Starlight @Silvereyes

@Yacob and @plover, I will be voting against @SilentWraith. She is a master manipulator, her lies weaving a clever tale to cover her own tracks whilst pinning the blame on someone else. She even manipulated me to some extent. But none of this is true. She is the true culprit, the true villian of this charade.

It is up to you 2 to decide who to believe.

Definitely you, as in YOU DID THIS, murderer! Finally, my struggles will end after all these years

This is a compelling description you give of the Baroness. But do you have any specific evidence? As someone who has been using the bodies to study, what’s stopping you from killing more guests to experiment on?

Bare in mind I am not accusing you of anything. I’d just like to know what other evidence you have collected, Doctor.

Just because I have a similarity to Dr Knox, that doesn’t mean I also act like Burke and Hare. There are more less illegal methods of getting fresh cadavers than murdering people in such blunt, crude ways.

Manipulator? It is true that I thought I could trust you earlier, but that was around the time Mr Stuyvesant was the prime suspect, and we all fell for it

Looks like two people have decided on their votes…yet no one has voted yet. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
